What's wrong with a great Drew Friedman illustration?

I don't know. That's the cover that should always be on there.

I've always found it creepy as Dick Shawn looks like a sexual predator.

Well, in the movie, he is a sexual predator.

Oh sure, it's funny that it's designed to trick unwary Wal-Mart shoppers, but props to Olga Kurylenko somehow getting placed above Affleck and McAdams

Considering the amount of work that has to go into even basic computer animation, how does something like that ever make its money back?

It's a Chinese production. There are these kind of things in every state-supported film country. I imagine they have a quota for children's films. Plus CG budgets have come WAY down, outside of maybe cutting-edge Avatar stuff.

Also, never discount the monetary value of hurried parents blindly picking up a knock-off title like this on the strength of it looking like something else (here, Kung Fu Panda). I'm sure this made back whatever the distributor paid for it in no time

It's the greatest movie since DreamWerks released Kung Fu Generic Black and White Marsupial!

It's a low-budget Chinese production but they got Rebecca Black at the height of her fame (2011)? Could be a different Rebecca Black, but according to IMDb it's the same one. Ahem, not that I really care.

In a way, there is something poetic in them reappropriating the national iconography that Hollywood has wholly stolen and selling it back to us as a cheap knock-off.

Is that the Easter bunny from Hop making a cameo in the bottom left of the cover?

Sometimes cover 'art' just leaves you at a loss for words.
This is one of those moments.

"Worth seeing!"

Really? This is one of Argento's best. They couldn't find a better endorsement than that?!

I love how the quote;

a). Doesn't automatically assume that you remember Psycho.

b). Only says that there are scenes that carry Psycho-level impact, not the film as a whole. That's not exactly a great recommendation.

Well, as a discerning horror fan, when a long-dead network news anchor speaks, I listen.
