Shout nor BFI have shown murmurs of a Fitzcarraldo upgrade so far which I'll be curious to see when it changes. I was pretty surprised this got a full 4K upgrade but pretty pleased. I think it has a lot to do with their kinship with Harrod Blank (who they worked with very closely on their previous Blank releases) and Herzog of course sells no matter what form, and this is basically Criterion's only opportunity to release anything involving him. it's a smart release and I love that it includes the original DVD booklet
