Well, nothing to do but raise my glass in three more raspberries to TT and wish them "good luck" on selling out this pressing.
(Pssst...TT...you might want to think about having somebody sign some of these. Is there anybody?)
Free footballer jersey, anyone? It's free!
Well, I'm glad it's not the Clarke The Firm (which I feared it was), since I'd rather not spend my money on Twilight Time product.

EDIT: I wasn't actually aware that anybody had bothered to remake the film, because why would you?

And of course I'm the only idiot thinking it was the Tom Cruise one

(despite it being a Paramount title, and despite it already having a Blu-ray much to my surprise.)

I thought it'd be Blu-ray audio of the Jimmy Page side project

From TT's Facebook page:
Included on our forthcoming Blu-ray of FATE IS THE HUNTER (release date May 13th), is TT co-founder Brian Jamieson's wonderful feature-length documentary on Nancy Kwan...

Well, I knew about its existence, as these hooligan-porn films tend to be heavily advertised on UK TV. Is this considered to be arthouse or classic by any stretch of the imagination in the States? I can't be the only Brit who finds the idea of a Twilight Time edition of one of these films hilarious. $30?! It's absolute bargain bin Blu-ray material over here. What next? A Danny Dyer boxset?

Are we certain that it's not an April's Fool?

Maybe they thought it was the Alan Clarke version when they licensed it. It'll be $25 by the way.

The British football hooligan film had a 2000s resurgence with perhaps the strangest film in the subgenre being Green Street, the film that starred Elijah Wood and also ran to two non-Wood starring sequels.

The Firm isn't the first Nick Love film on this subject either, as he directed The Football Factory in 2004.

I imagine the licensing deal with Protagonist Pictures was much more favorable to TT than the deals with Fox and Sony, as evidenced by the $24.95 price for those titles.

You're not wrong! Morbidly curious US customers can pick up the region free BluRay from Amazon.uk for under five quid. What kind of idiot would buy this from Twilight Time?

I'm sure it doesn't make much of a difference to the die hard fans of this film, but that disc is 1080i.

Zedz, you should have known better than to ask a seemingly rhetorical question to the HTF crew...

Those would be in the same style as the HTF bowling league shirts, yes?

Nah, I wasn't a fan of the colors they picked for those.

You have to imagine my surprise that HTF's sport of choice is one played indoors by a bunch of fat white guys

The vaults are thrown open to you and you pick a late-period Stanley Kramer movie?
