That Rhubarb movie needs to explain a lot more than a bad DVD cover. Why is the cat a millionaire? How can a cat be a millionaire? Why on earth is a cat named Rhubarb? Why would this cat carry its money around on a pillow, rather than being sensible and keeping it in a wallet or on some type of card? Why are they standing in the middle of a baseball stadium, and why is that stadium full of people while no one is playing baseball? Has everyone come to see this guy holding a millionaire cat named Rhubarb? (I'll admit, I would probably go purely out of curiosity.)
I may have to purchase this film in an attempt to unravel these mysteries. I would say maybe that's their marketing technique, except I'm quite sure I'm the only person who has thought this much about it.
Regarding the Beyond Obsession cover, I like how they couldn't be bothered to photograph an actual table with stuff on it. Apparently the budget only allowed for some objects photo-shopped onto a preexisting table picture, without any regard for perspective.

You know you are getting old when it turns out that someone felt the need to create an even younger, more child friendly version of the three Harry Potter kids.
Hagrid's looking good though!

The suggestion would seem to be a drink fueled threesome, with the 'forbidden line being crossed' having something to do with the unorthodox use of a candle!

Think Japanese films... masses of men and one girl... "shuttle japan"... or, er, "50 Men One Girl One Cup"

I seriously want to see Sharks In Venice now! I love the way that the gondolier is just standing there in kind of bemused resignation - who says you can't tell someone's expression just from seeing their back!
To continue our Will Smith meme I want to see him remake the film with the following as a trailer:
"After a bust gone wrong, Detective Danny Savage has joined the Venice PD - Venice, Italy that is!"
*cue montages of culture clash jokes - Smith having difficulty steering a boat; some sort of mocking of accents; whole groups of tourists falling off of their wave rocked craft as the police boat roars past at high speed, the same kind of thing you get in the Rush Hour films*
"But the one thing he didn't expect was a return of an old enemy"
Then have this image as the final shot of the trailer, but instead of the Antonioni-esque back of the person displayed to us acting as the viewer's surrogate in the situation, we get Smith exclaiming the classic line: "Aw,
hell no!"
Knowing my luck they'll remake it as "Sharks In Venice Beach", take out the giant man eating fish and turn it into some gritty thriller about having to infiltrate a street gang!

A street gang that snaps their fingers and sings, no doubt. Cue the violent, bloody war with an outfit known only as "The Jets."

Christ, Broderick looks like a dishelveled, unshaven wretch.
Though maybe I would too if I just took a shinbone in the crotch..

Matthew Broderick is really starting to look more like his old man. Pretty unsettling, because he held on to that Wargames-Ferris Bueller look for far longer than most of us could have.
