We've all clearly gone crazy.
And Lonesome and The Bridge were the only ones I could read clearly.
Does anyone else think that the second name from the bottom on the left side of the Qatsi page is Gremillon? Because I almost had a heart attack when the thought occurred to me, but then convinced myself I was seeing things.

Oh, the Trial of Joan of Arc was left off of the MK2 list in the picture Saturnome put up- it's the second from the bottom.

Here's an upscaled version of the dr. seuss page. I used a photoshop app called genuine fractals. there's a bit of additional jpg compression introduced to this version by saving it as a jpg rather than a tif, but it looks (to my eye) better than just zooming in on it.

Also I've noticed that if you invert it (negative view) or desaturate it it can make the text clearer. using the levels tool to play with the white balance can be helpful as well. And I've found that some filters, such as facet, can also clarify some letters. On the other hand, I'm terrible at deciphering these, so I figured I'd post the increased resolution version here for you eagle eyed folks. maybe you'll see something more?

This is like the ultimate game of Hangman.

Right above the word that looks like "Senso"... is that "Shampoo"?

Don't think so, but I can't make it out.

The "Senso" looks more like a "Jancso" to me

I think the one off to the right on the Odd Man Out page is La Haine

the Qatsi doesn't really look like Qatsi to me. for one, there are two letters before the 'a', and it looks like 2 letters after, the last being a 'G'....

Honestly, it's a Qa word and the Qatsi Trilogy has been rumored forever. Unless they're releasing something about Qatar, I think we can rest easy on that one.

Does Quatar have a trilogy, because that word is distinct even to these poor eyes.

I think what happened is whoever wrote it wrote 'Qaatsi' instead of 'Qatsi' for some reason- the repeated a is pretty clear.

I think that does make the page easier to read (though I can't make anything more out of it). Could you do something similar for the other pages?

Disparage 5000 Fingers of Dr. T as a mere "child's entertainment" all you'd like, but it's one of the greatest since Lewis Carroll, and just as surreal and disturbing as Dali (better than, IMO) and just as telling as something like the original Invaders from Mars. It is a great, great film, and better than Fantastic Mr. Fox and the entirety of Wes Anderson's career.

How is calling something children's entertainment a disparagement? It's a movie that was aimed at children. It's also a great movie. I haven't any idea of why those two things should come into conflict.

Also, I meant to mention this when it came up, but Time Bandits is a children's movie, so there is some precedent.

The one under Odd Man Out is a three word title with aux as the middle word...maybe Cage aux Folles?

I'm pretty sure the paper behind the Cinecitta list says "ifc list"

I think the paper behind the MK2 list says "Random Movies"

Wouldn't do any harm to check the Chabrol titles

After have conclusively deciphered 'Schtupp your Rabbi' and 'Bippy the Poodle" I'm convinced it's some kind of Rorschach derived hoax.Mind you I am now seeing Une affaire de Femmes at the bottom of the MK2 page. Warning : - I have considerably less than 20/20 vision

Oh God, one of the worst, most uncharacteristic Chabrols. Figures.

But it does have La Huppe, now if only they could get hold of Violette Noziere that is available nulle part in a decent version - likewise La Dentelliere

On the upscaled Dr. Seuss pic, looks like Vagabond, 5th down on the right.

Yes, looks like Vagabond to me too. Could the 6th on the left be Sansho, or is that supposed to be all eclipse titles?

I wasn't disparaging the movie. It's a fine film, but it's a relatively family friendly one. I wasn't even comparing it to Fantastic Mr. Fox. They can't be compared because they're two entirely different films. I was simply inquiring if it may be in the works, since we were on the subject of family friendly films. (Whoa! Nice alliteration!)

Why is "Dr. Seuss" written on the page if he's the screenwriter? Aren't all the other names directors? Is it because he's a big name?
