The one where Jeff tries to be nice like that doctor and Malcolm Jamal Warner shows up

Oh, you had mentioned Season 1 in the same breath so I was just a bit confused. That one certainly had some great lines despite the awkward tone and terrible ending - for what it's worth, I thought tonight's episode might be the worst ever. The early Season 1 episodes at least have an excuse for being a snooze. Although I might be alone in also really hating Basic Rocket Science.

I'm sorry Dom, but the dean's VO at the beginning makes this an automatic good episode.

I don't mean to seem contrarian, Knives, but I found them to feel more than a bit forced, canned, and uninspired. It sort of bummed me out right from the beginning.

You're not.

I thought it was a weaker episode, though watching Jeff get shot down by the corporate spy was amusing (her "racism" was also far more hilarious than anything Chase has delivered on the show).

I'm surprised people didn't like the debate episode. Pop! Pop!

I would have liked the debate ep more if they took out the secret service love interest. What surprises me is someone didn't like the lesbian episode, I thought it was one of the best of the series.

The amazing-sounding fake clip show episode is tonight! And the last two episodes of the season? "A Fist Full of Paintballs" and "For a Few Paintballs More"

Fun fact I just learned: The Pulp Fiction/My Dinner with Andre episode was directed by Richard Ayoade, he of Submarine fame.

Okay, I came in here expecting an animated gif of Britta post-lepruchan stealing her clothes. Disappointed in all of you.

Humanity is premiering, you jags.

This was indeed the best episode of Community ever.

This episode was without a doubt the most I've ever laughed at any TV show, ever. They had better put the deleted scenes on the DVD, because you just know they to have cut a ton of stuff for time

They should just include the entire roll of footage shot for this, period. On its own 4 discs.

Favorite moments, anyone? I have to say, Jeff's speeches were incredible. And then there's the dean, of course.

Britta's line "We got that cool new bus driver!"

The final clip from the Cape episode with all of them in capes

Jeff's line about the group being a locomotive

Every single second of the Dean

Troy "kicking" through the different levels of flashback

And the beautiful bite at the hand that feeds it with the barrage of fake YouTube shipper clips

...There's a TON of stuff I know I missed just from laughing so hard and just too much going on. Like, I know in at least one of the Dean's costume appearances I caught a glimpse of Britta in some ridiculous winter getup. I have no doubt that I will see this episode many many many more times and will probably still be picking up gags.

These drug lords aren't going to shoot Pierce because he's racist

Annie: "That whole general 'Would they? Might they?' atmosphere."

Jeff: "It's called chemistry. I have it with everyone."

That episode was like staring into the sun. I literally had to take a few minutes break in the middle for the sake of my health.

Not the best episode, but definitely the funniest. My favorite moments:

-Britta carelessly throwing Annie's chapstick back in the general direction of her bag

-"I'll be a living GOD!"

-Jeff pulling Annie out of the robot's way (and seeing Pierce in a hot dog suit in it's wake)

-Dean's enthusiasm for Feline AIDS Awareness Day (and all subsequent outfits)

-Pierce's way of "distracting" everyone while snitching bits of their lunch

And, whatever moment it was that found Britta making that adorable cheek-tug.

For me, it was Abed in the cape attempting to clandestinely steal Jeff's lunch. Its over-the-top absurdity had my sides hurting. I must have laughed for two minutes and missed a lot based on the machine gun pacing of that episode, ffs. Need to see that again.

The shipping montage, the Dean's costume sequence ('Flat baroque' was a good line), and MegaDean almost killed me - the sheer hilarity there just never let up. "We compartmentalized our libidos for the group" was a great line, too.

Finally got to the new episode and it's street ahead. Right off the bat with the Glee stuff I was being murdered. I think some of my favorite things were the looks that Alison Brie was giving throughout. Though the Pierce and Abed love montage was perfect.

There was so much gold piled on top of the glee club stuff that I'd forgotten it even happened until last night when I was just about to fall asleep, the memory returned and it jolted me awake in a fit of laughter. My wife thinks I'm completely crazy now. You can recognize me on the street these days because I'm the one constantly stopping, remembering, and spazzing out for no apparent reason. Well, I'm one of those people anyway.

And now for a blast from the past--is anyone else familiar with Operation Kitten Calendar? Some of it doesn't completely hold up but regardless, this was when I fell in love with Dan Harmon. (He even plays a small role here, as the dynamic Randy.) For those of you that might not have been alive in 2007, it's a spoof from Harmon's democratic sketch show Acceptable TV of this flash-in-the-pan reality show that used to be on called "The Apprentice" where Donald Tr--what's that, it's still on the air? Um...anyway, enjoy.

That was among the greatest things I've ever seen. The concept was pretty brilliant, but the execution was what made it. The show is so consistently excellent at executing outlandish and adventurous concepts that it astonishes me. There were too many sequences where I just lost it and I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. Jeff's speech montage was pretty incredible and Pierce's bird noises just killed me, the fact that he did three times was just too much. I really want to see the Western episode stat and I would also like to know what was up with the Habitat for Humanity house. It's an incredible show.
