Thanks to all and keep the recommendations coming. The
Archival Treasures series* was at the top of my must-see list, along with
Soredemo Boku Wa Yattenai, among others, but unfortunately, time restrictions apply, so it will be impossible to see everything. Plus, if a film has or will likely find distribution, it will be nixed.
*Once upon a time, they ran a free retro series at 8am, but sadly, those days are long gone.

The Nines. It's interesting that he doesn't consider, that maybe, just maybe, his film just wasn't good. I remember seeing the trailer for this film and thinking it looked ridiculous.

I actually think that's a pretty mature and interesting article that raises some interesting questions-- it's common for musicians to be so cavalier about their albums leaking but I don't think I've ever read of a director lamenting that he didn't leak his own movie!
