This is such a delightful film, I loved it when I first saw it, and I still love it. I'm a little bit obsessed with the little glimpse we get of the moronic- and hateful-looking (East) Indian woman, and perhaps some other sinister freaks, I can't remember, at the Cox's party near the beginning of the film. I'm not sure she even has any lines but she certainly makes for a very powerful image and contributes to the film's delicious, caustic, strangely giddy and delightful sarcastic tone. I wish the Coens had cooked up a whole subplot for her that was worthy of her brief appearance.

PS if the Coens ever revisit this subject, a Lindsey Graham character should be at least one of their main focuses.

Seriously, I would probably LOVE the result if the Coens made one of their most ambitious films a derisive black comedy largely about all the not-so-closeted homosexuals in power in DC and elsewhere in the US who spend their careers pushing extremely homophobic and bigoted policies, with at least a somewhat similar tone to Burn After Reading. Sounds right up their alley, really.
