Your still a ways off on that joke, being Janus plans to release this later this year before Criterion would have any plans for it. Your looking at 2012 (or lucky, end of this year) for Week End.

The NYT already gave away Cul-de-Sac, Orpheus, and Vigo as August releases. Criterion has shown hints about the first two on Facebook over the last week.

That would knock off two more from the Wacky New Year's cartoon- what would that leave?

I suppose August would be the last month Les vacances de Monsieur Hulot would be released until the next summer? I can't see Criterion issuing a blu of it in the dead of winter.

Besides the titles that we know they had planned (it's possible a title or two might have been delayed further), I'm pretty sure we will be seeing a Hawks film (Red River seems most likely) after the hint they dropped the other day.

I think we might need to wait a little longer for this. I know The Film Foundation has undertaken a digital restoration of this as they had with The Red Shoes a couple of years ago. Though I'm not sure how far along they are with this I expect a theatrical premiere of the restoration in at least a festival or two, if not a run in the art house circuit, before a Blu-Ray release. Needless to say, I'm very anxious for this to happen.
