Spoiler
The way Criterion's going, she'll be on the cover for Red!
unless its the front cover of the box set... a band/banner for each movie...
looks like it's something like a collage of screenshots like the inside packaging of The Man Who Fell To Earth :

I really hope that they won't ruin the artwork for this Kielsowski box set. I'm sure they will do 1080p24 contrary to mk2, but please [-o< ...
I really like what they did for la Double Vie de Véronique (I even kept the DVD box set... (moreover the booklet of the blu-ray edition was heavily "edited"...)

A month or so back, I seem to remember Criterion asking on Facebook "which would you rather see, Decalogue or "The Three Colors?" This was after we knew that the trilogy would be coming out. Is it too much to dream that both could come out?

A few months ago if I remember correctly. I wonder if they'll package the "short film about" movies with it if they have picked it up.

Wow, I had just checked a few months ago to see if it was priced reasonably, but had never checked back. That's certainly interesting. Hopefully Criterion will put together a solid package... if they do, in fact, have the rights. I trust that they would put together a nice set with plenty of bonus features. November will be super-strong if we get two Kieślowski sets!!

The Kino versions are still in print, so I doubt it.

Darn, it seems so wrong to separate them.

No. It's not. It's no longer on Kino's website. Out of print like the KimStim titles.

Wow. If Criterion actually has access to what could essentially be the complete feature-length works of Kieslowski . . .

Glad to be wrong if Criterion actually is picking these up; I'd hate to see them go out of print in R1 otherwise. I could easily see The Scar, Camera Buff, Blind Chance, and No End packaged as an Eclipse set and thus losing the extras (of course, the various short films are the most important and could be added to the Three Colors & Decalogue sets). Camera Buff and Blind Chance, imo, merit full-on Criterion releases, but that argument could certainly be made (and has) for any number of Eclipse titles (Shepitko, Bernard....).

Decalogue from Criterion would be great. Surely it would be a remaster, bettering even the Polish DVD master (licensed from WB in Poland) that seems to be the best so far (now OOP). Maybe Criterion could license the bonus disc from the Polish set. The French box set (Ed. Montparnasse) also had some extensive extras if I remember correctly.

An Eclipse box w/ The Scar, Camera Buff, Blind Chance, No End --- very good!

The Polish e-tailer Merlin told me earlier this year that there was no chance of a reissue of the Polish set. I´d appreciate tips on the second best DVD edition of Decalogue -- the Korean or the UK one?

Also exactly what I would have expected. I am interested to see the full Blue cover now. I still can't figure out what the hell is going on with the cover choice there. If they're just looking for a really, really blue still from the movie, why didn't they pick this:

Or a shot of the swimming pool. Or the sheet music.

If Criterion picked up the former Kinos, it would be a major waste to turn around and dump them on Eclipse. As mentioned above, several of them are classics in their own right. Also, what value does Criterion add to the titles by putting them on Eclipse? If they're going through the trouble of doing new transfers, I would imagine that we'd at least see them on Blu-ray.

I suppose all three are photos/screens (White is the wedding photo IIRC; Red is the advertising hoarding)...

However, they did manage to get all three colors on one cover.

I do too, actually. At least they're doing something different than all the other releases of this film. It'll stand out.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Max Fisher write "Enjoy Your Stay" in the hotel bee scene of Rushmore or is this a clue for something else?
