Also had a decent run of smaller roles in serious tv and movies. I liked him in Clemency.

British film editor John Grover, who worked on six James Bond films (The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill) and was an assistant editor on Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.

J. Todd Anderson, storyboard artist for Michael Almereyda, Shane Black, and most notably the Coen brothers, starting with Raising Arizona and continuing uninterrupted thru their solo work (his final credit will be Joel’s Jack of Spades next year). Ethan cowrote his directorial debut The Naked Man, which is trying at something but is unfortunately like watching a goofy Coens movie with a serious head injury.

He also appears in Fargo as one of the passersby killed by Gaear; in the cast credits, instead of his name, there is a parody of [The Artist Formerly Known as] Prince's symbol.

He had a truly stranger than fiction life.
When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder? is one of the craziest films to come out of Columbia/Sony, and I am always urging people to see it

He is fantastic in
Red Ryder leading a very fine cast including the likes of Lee Grant, Candy Clark & Peter Firth amongst others. It is one of my most wishful Blu Ray releases.
Also
Marjoe (1972) directed by Howard Smith & Sarah Kernochan is a must see. Marjoe was marrying adults at the age of 5. Another film that needs greater exposure.
And it is impossible to forget him in
Earthquake & Bert I. Gordon's
The Good of the Gods (1976).

Definitely needs more exposure. I know some of his direct relatives and his parents were SO messed up. Someone really needs to do a biographical film about him...

Disgraced televangelist Jim Bakker, who was convicted of fraud and conspiracy, and former Congressman
Dennis Hastert (the longest serving Republican Speaker of the House), who was convicted of financial offenses related to the sexual abuse of teenage boys. (Hastert admitted to the abuse at a sentencing hearing but he was never tried for those crimes.)

Did they die together in some dramatic fashion like Thelma & Louise only in a golf cart?
