It was the last title in the Broadway Musicals 4-pack left, but like Show Boat it looked real rough on DVD, so they must have done a new scan

Oh you're right. The boys handled the chorus. She definitely lived it though. Just finished a biography of Leonard Cohen and it goes into some detail about what a heartbreaker Nico was within the New York scene in the late 60's.
