As swo said, and
Criterion has since clarified, it doesn't matter how many "likes" you have right now. They pick their favorite Top 10 tomorrow, put them into a new album where they'll all have zero likes, then the voting commences.

What if you were to actually bury it and leave just the title showing?

Teleporting posts.

Because Saturnome actually posted that 20 minutes in the future (look at his post time). Weird forum glitch that happens sometimes.

Now if only I can move through time I could get all that money back.

Yes, I know that. I just meant, it bodes well for it's selection, given the popular response. And it has been up only half as long as many other images.

I guess I'll say which are mine
Late Spring
(Got the wacky C in the corner with the apple peel)
Ikiru
(It's OK, I'm not all that satisfied with it. Probably should have been B&W or a different angle)
In The Realm Of The Senses
(Definitely my idea of a sick laugh, not involving the final violent scene, which others have done)

We're hard at work narrowing down 10 finalists and have decided to award 10 photos of honorable mention as well. Stay tuned!

Loved this one, mate, and "liked" it - crossing my fingers for you that you get into the top ten or at least an honourary mention.

Hey, I'm happy with my ten dollars

I noticed Saturnome got honorable mention, too. I think this bodes well for Hail_Cesar to place in the top ten, at least....

I hope so! I end up first if they choose the winners from the actual likes QT. (which I doubt).

Haha, the honorable mentions are all much better than mine, so I no longer have my hopes up. I do hope there's at least one from our forum in the top ten that we can vote for.

Which ones are forumites? Ivan's Childhood and Videodrome, right?

Some questionable choices there. Not only was LQ robbed, the Repulsion one was too.

Yeah, Hamlet and Silence of the Lambs both seem unremarkable to me. Oh, well.

I could've sworn that would be in the top ten, if not the ultimate winner of the contest. Criterion's such a prude.
Congrats to Hail_Cesar and Brianruns10 (if that is indeed his
Videodrome entry), hope one of you take home the prize.

There was originally an incredible one for
Wages of Fear in the top 10 but it was replaced with one for
Everlasting Moments.
Which
Repulsion one are you guys talking about?
