Will pass as well especially since we know that individual releases, even as steelbooks, are coming. My only worry is that they'll only release Vertigo, Rear Window, The Birds and Marnie on their own and give the likes of Shadow of a Doubt short shrift.

I wonder if North By Northwest is getting a new transfer. I'm very happy with the current one as opposed to most folks, but I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate a revisit.

I pre-ordered the Hitchcock set. With amazon uk's free shipping and VAT removal, the total comes to £93.74. Too good a deal to turn down.

Most folks think the current release is fantastic. And since it's is licensed from Warner, the disc will be identical to the current one.

I think it looks alright, pretty lazy but nothing obscenely bad.

It's fucking great if we're getting this packaging on Blu-ray.com now! A nice, slim, fairly stylish box!

I literally imported the US North by Northwest digibook three weeks ago so looks like I'll be double-dipping on at least the one film.

I disagree on the cover, it's actually pretty clever. And THANK GOODNESS for slim packaging - I will now be a buyer.

I don't understand the huge difference in price between this and the UK set. The US set has far more modest packaging and 15 discs compared to 14 in the UK set, but the retail prices are $300 vs. £150.

It's amateurish. Especially compared to the classier UK and German sets.

That cover is horrendous. Too much stuff going on, it draws the eye every which way and it's all irregular. I had trouble looking at it.

Will buy if/when price comes down a bit.

I hope none of you are foolhardy enough to sell off your DVDs/pre-order until we get some word on whether Universal shellac'd the picture like they have on most of these horrible 100th Anniversary Blus

My Hitchcock DVD's are long gone. Hopefully they kept their hands off the dnr button for these blu.

Not sure why they didn't use the inside cover art as the outside cover art, it's much better.
