My Rivette arrived today in Dunder Mifflinville. The dispatch email was sent Jan. 15, but the date on the customs form is Jan. 22, so it took two weeks; my average for shipments from Europe.

At long last, Rivette has arrived here in DC - hope the other DC/Baltimore posters here get theirs today as well!

No Rivette, but what I DID retrieve from the mailbox was the MoC Touch of Zen, shipped by Amazon UK on January 27 and routed to Connecticut through fucking Indianapolis. The Indianapolis i-Parcel shipping label is pasted over the original one, and a smaller one pasted over part of that refers to UPS Innovations (!?).
Rivette, of course, shipped on January 15.....

No Rivette. Every other item I have ordered from Arrow has arrived, except this one.
My conjecture is that Arrow used a lower-cost shipping option for this item, resulting in inordinate delays for some customers.

Hey, I got my Touch of Zen today too, mailed on the 26th. Still no Rivette, though, allegedly mailed eleven days before that

I would seriously have paid the five pounds or whatever more to actually
receive this fucking thing...

Still nothing here in Boston for me. I was told by Nicole that my order shipped on the 18th (not the 15th) via 'RM Airmail Small Packets'.

I finally received my Rivette set yesterday in Pittsburgh. What a relief! Now I just have to schedule a day or two off work to watch Out 1.

My Rivette set arrived as well, with the same January 22nd stamp that's been previously reported.

Mine has arrived safely at its new home in Chicago. I found it hilarious that on the customs declaration label, there was no monetary amount, but rather a stamp: "NO COMMERCIAL VALUE". I mean, I know it's a difficult 700+ minute film, but c'mon! Whether Arrow has a joker in the shipping department or not, this made my day.

They do this for every order, presumably to avoid VAT/customs charges on your end.

I personally do this whenever I send anyone something overseas (which I've done on this forum). I just check off the box marked "gift" so they don't have to get charged for anything.

Yes, in the UK most items, including DVDs, valued over £15 from outside the EU are liable to 20% VAT (plus a flat £8 Royal Mail collection fee). For anything described as a "gift" - which can't be from a company - the threshold is still only £34.

Good to know, though my comment was based on the juxtaposition of "no commercial value" on a box containing Out 1 and how appropriate that seemed to me. :)

This is just sickening.
It's the 19th working day since Arrow's 1/15 shipment. Saturdays of course are delivery days here, so add a few more delivery days to that. Tomorrow marks a "whole four-week month" since shipment. This is unprecedented.
I'll be sending a followup note to Nicole, who'd asked me to hold on till yesterday. But she'd also referenced the required 14 working days in her reply to me on what was actually the 15th working day. That's not a complaint, I'm sure she's crazy with this stuff. I just know I can't order another limited edition from Arrow under these circumstances.
I'm even starting to wonder about Amazon UK, from whom I have a 1/23 shipment out there someplace. Today marks 14 working days, or almost three weeks, for that one. This is purely anecdotal, but I am positive my typical in-transit time from either company has been a week to a week-and-a-half -- two at the outside, and that's not often.
EDIT: Deleted an erroneous reference to potential Sunday deliveries, irrelevant here.

My orders from Amazon.co.uk used to take six days, like clockwork, up until the last couple months.

Has anyone in Southeast US received theirs?
Arrow's shipments usually arrive fairly quickly. I wonder why so many of these orders are getting hung up.
