Went through this box over the last two years (I usually end up spreading these massive sets out, not necessarily by design). Didn't really end up loving any of the films (plenty of good ones) but the set of extras is really exceptional.

When looking up thread-anointed MVP of those extras, Lee Drysdale, it seems that he has since passed away (Feb 2022 according to a fb post, didn't find any obits). He sounded like a treasure trove of anecdotes from those interviews, one can only hope that someone recorded his memoirs or something!

Inside the Archive: in conversation with Derek Jarman.

I enjoyed the footage of Jarman's notebooks and other items at the BFI National Archive in this new video, which is not included in the Jarman box sets.

There is a mention of the film Prospect (2025) by Sarah Wood, which incorporates new 8mm scans of material Jarman shot in preparation for The Garden, much of it unused in the film itself. It seems to be available to watch only as an installation video. I'd love to see this.
