Hammock, when you add the Viridiana Wallpaper of the new cover art, will you be keeping the original wallpaper up that you did? or just put in the the alternate covers section?

also, a request, Man Bites Dog, and Fanny and Alexander (the boxset cover and Television Series Disc Cover preferably) please.

Thanks!

New "to do list":

- Sword Of The Beast
- Cassavetes (entire box - I love a challange)
- 400 Blows
- Man Bites Dog
- Fanny and Alexander (the boxset cover and Television Series Disc Cover )

Requestlist will be closed until I'm done with these as I need to make sweet love to my woman from time to time...

I will be keeping the wallpaper for Viridiana together with a high res. of the new one. I will also add the cover to the alternative section.

Cheers!

Yo, Hammock. Nothing to do with Wallpapers, but I scanned the back of my Schizopolis cover so I figured you'd like it for your site. Here you go:

My pleasure!

Wallpaper : Added 250: five films [box]

What appears black in the left corner contains a list of films in the box but I'm not sure if this is visible to anyone as I toned it down to almost invisble! Do you see it?

I guess there are some kind of statistics on my site but I'm a total noob at these things and have no clue how to use them (if they're there). However, I did receive a few "thank you" mails and they were not ironic, so I guess gothic people dig it. It's the same as asking who buys Slipknot records or something...!?

nice job on Man Bites Dog...it reminded me of an alternate cover you might want to track down. The original artwork for that disc, as I recall, showed a pair of dentures instead of a pacifier.

What will you do next?

How about:
Le Corbeau
Pickpocket
Night and the City
Theives Highway
Salvatore Giuliano
Onibaba
Straw Dogs

The challenge of the Cassavetes set must have been something, I think you did a fantastic job though. They are a tad dark but if someone plays around with Photoshop they turn out good in my opinion. The heartily laughing Gena Rowlands on the A Woman Under the Influence cover is pretty bizarre to look at. Maybe that is on the original but I never noticed. Odded me out a little bit at first.

Thanks Floyd - and "yes" the Cassavetes almost killed me. The laughing Gena was something I added as I thought it fitted her crazy/not crazy personalities in the movie. Glad you noticed!

Great work on the Cassavetes and F&A! I know that you have a long to-do list, but I wanted to suggest Spellbound and Rebecca (actually this one could probably use an alternative cover). Keep up the great work.

Not to nitpick on you hammock but I just noticed now that A Woman Under the Influence and The Killing of a Chinese Bookie spell John Cassavetes name John Cassavettes at the top. Figured you might want to know. Is it that way on the original?

the thieves highway one is fantastic! but the night and the city one with the off color strip in the middle is very very annoying. you might try just desaturating the entire wallpaper, then colorizing it something similar to thieves highway, maybe up the contrast a smidge.

EDIT: actually, I'll do it...

EDIT: yeah...

In my first go I removed the color strip in the middle, but then it felt a little empty and since it is on the original artwork I decided to keep it (I always try and maintain most of the original artwork in one side). I love your take on it though! Thanks for the kudos - always nice to have feedback - good, bad or in between.

Added : Wallpaper : 226 onibaba

That one turned out excellent!
