I'm glad the guy they got to review this had the proper background of having already seen Seven Samurai, La strada, and The Third Man.

That expression is probably from all the substances he ingested to make it through a film with Meg Ryan.

At least Space Buddies looks more realistic than Armageddon! :P

Interesting.....I didn't know James Dean was present at the Resurrection. I guess I've been reading the wrong Bible.

Hill Number One makes more sense as a title than Number Hill One. Any idea why they called it...

Oh wait, the graphic designer is just an idiot.

It is a pleasant surprise to see William H. Macy play against type as a loser though.

I'll never forget the time I was in a video store and this guy was on his cell phone calling his wife, and the conversation went something like this: "How about Million Dollar Hotel?... Yeah, me neither.... It's got Mel Gibson... Yeah, so it's probably good."

If you look at it close, it's an e not an i.

I just hope this Extreme Edition finally reaches the levels of extremity that the film deserves.

Who'd have thought Wim was hiding a Bono though.

Saw a whole slew of bad covers today at the dvd shops.
Had a few good chuckles.

There was a truly hilarious faux-apocalyptic cover for Aftermath: Population Zero, which I can't find online. Suffice it to say that there was a strong hint of Planet of the Apes, along with the top of the Eiffel Tower snapping off and falling from the upper right. It's actually a National Geographic film, which I never would have guessed from the cheesy horror cover.

This design is pretty lame, and I'm left wondering who thinks putting numbers in words is a good idea.

This is pretty silly as well:

Must be tough for Sly to make a legal header what with the short arm and hand growing out of his head.
Then again, that probably takes a backseat to playing football as a three-headed Siamese twin (Siamese triplet?).
Unless they play in a special league and go up against two-headed Rosie Greers and such.

Who said they blew all of their creativity coming up with the title:

Sure hope this cover doesn't give me nightmares:

There was also a laughable cover of a fragmented face for a Korean film called Nightmare, but I can't find that online. Was very red and looked like there were knuckles growing out the forehead or somesuch.

Looks like Travers' wet dream has come true, a blurb of his is now the subtitle of a film.

So, films are "based on a true story" if the subjects aren't famous, and "based on the true story" if they are?
