I kinda want to send MoC a note saying they can hold on to their copy of Two-Lane since I already have it, or at least send me a different title, but alas.

Now we've shared that little gem with you, who'd like a free blu-ray? Everyone of course! The rules are simple, spend £30 in a single order and you will also receive a mystery blu-ray completely free of charge, it could be a catalogue title, it could be a recent release, it could be an out of print title, what we do know is it's going to be fun getting your feedback on which titles you receive free. So, we'd like you to get involved, when you receive your order find us on Facebook or Twitter and let us know what you got, use hashtags #eureka and #freebie and let us know what you received as your free disc.

For some reason, I received two freebies as part of their recent deal. Lifeboat and Junebug, both of which I had already bought from Eureka, ironically enough.

Edit: I'm not complaining; these will make lovely gifts. All in all, it was a fun little promotion.

I got Junebug in mine, which I like, although I was hoping for an actual MoC disc.

MovieMail have the World Cinema Foundation Blu-ray for a reasonable £32.99: http://www.moviemail.com/film/dvd+blu-r ... olume-One/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Add the code SUMMER5 at checkout and you can get an additional 5% off.

It's cheaper still at Sainsbury's, £29.99.

I got this this, it looks like total crap, I hoped on something in the Eureka line at least :(
Very disappointed, I know it's free, but wouldn't have made the order at the moment without the incentive.

Must of been totally random as I got a MOC title in my order. They sent Silent Running which was exactly the title I was hoping for.

It's not very good, but it's far from bad, actually.

I got Two-Lane Blacktop, so it could have been better for me, could have been worse. I already have the Criterion and thus never would've bought the MoC blu-ray, so this worked out pretty well and I'll definitely keep this for the unique extras. Very nice promotion from MoC.

If it drops below £26, ie. the amount I would expect to pay for the two new spine numbers, then I'll consider it a good price and buy it.

Do you fancy trading Junebug for my unopened double of The Gospel According to St. Matthew?

This box is limited to 2000 units.
Still isn't available to order on Amazon, so we await MoC release strategy.

That's VAT removal, which will happen with anything you order from Amazon UK if you're located in the U.S.

Ah, thanks. I'd thought as much, but the order details threw me:
Item price: £38.92
Item(s) Subtotal: £32.43
Postage & Packing: £3.08
-----
Total Before VAT: £35.51
VAT: £0.00
-----
Total: £35.51
-----
Grand Total: £35.51
It appears that the reduced price is in effect prior to the consideration of VAT.

The "Item price" includes £6.49 of VAT (about 16.7% of the listed price). The "Item(s) Subtotal" takes this out. If you lived in the UK, that amount would be added back in again on the VAT line.

Its probably gonna be cheapest at Amazon, so that's where I pre-ordered it. I prefer to purchase through Eureka directly, but I don't want to run the risk of it becoming unavailable by the time it appears on their site in a month's time.

Ironically, the last MoC I bought off of Amazon was the Ugetsu dual-format, when it was really cheap, and which I now am going to sell. I haven't even watched it yet.
