How does their release of Devil and Daniel Webster stack up next to the Criterion?

It wouldn't be the first time that a "discontinuation" was followed swiftly by the announcement of a bluray.

I hope you're right. I'd buy a Daniel Webster BD in an instant.

The new Eureka website + store is live.
Kevin / Eureka wrote:It's just over ten years since the first Masters of Cinema release (Holy Mountain) and as we move into a new decade we've had a bit of a facelift. We now have a brand new website with an integrated store and lots more. There will be regular blog articles and a user forum to allow you to discuss everything Eureka!

We've slaved over this for just under a year and hope you like it just as much as we do. Come over and join us today! To celebrate the new site going live, we're knocking 15% off everything in the store until Monday 11th August. No codes to enter or anything like that just add the items you are interested in to your cart and you'll see the discount upon checkout.

In new release news, August sees the release of Fritz Lang's Frau Im Mond and F.W. Murnau's Faust on Dual Format, these are in stock and shipping now and also attract 15% off until Monday.

The link takes you to old site. They are probably still working out kinks.

DNS records are still updating so it jumps between the two.

Could you do me a favour an not place any orders yet (I know some have already). I'll send out a newsletter and give you all a shout when it's fully live.

We had to flush the cache, it's back now.

Each page will be a little slow to start with, people can help out by clicking around a rebuilding it.

I briefly saw the new site, but when I changed the page, I started getting 404 Error's unless I clicked on the link to the old MoC website. I guess 15% off was enough to crash the new site.

Minor server gremlins. Bloody great timing! It's been working all day and super fast too. We're looking into it.

They have a forum. Is MOC trying to recruit CriterionForum's top talent?

I kinda like the new design, too, but aren't there some items missing? Or is even "Bakumatsu" already OOP?
And it's not nice that the OOP discs aren't shown at all anymore, if only to demonstrate the company's former glory... Naruse and others now officially consigned to oblivion...

Took me a while, as pages loaded slowly, but got my order for the Rapture Blu-ray in! Thank you guys for keeping free international shipping a thing on this new site, it was such a great deal.

Get a PayPal Debit Mastercard! It's not a credit card, it just looks to your PayPal balance, and then your backup payment method (likely your bank account if your PayPal account is like mine) when there's not enough to cover a transaction in your balance. And you get 1% cash back, paid out monthly directly into your PayPal balance. I use it for large purchases because of the cash back, and as a nice buffer from my bank account for things like subscription services, etc, since an e-mail receipt is sent at the time of authorization and again when a transaction clears, so I can keep a closer eye on things like that. I've earned more than $100 in cash back over the last couple of years.
