See my post
here for a comprehensive availability/censorship guide. The only thing I'm not sure of: Have any of the cartoons on the BD volumes been censored?
I don't believe any of them were censored. Of the 27 shorts left to be released, I suspect this set will be all of them minus Uncle Tom's Cabaña and Half-Pint Pygmy, unfortunately.

Which would let me ditch the French and Droopy sets entirely

Wow, a bonus WB short and hint of a Volume 4!
EDIT: Volume 3 will have two other previously unavailable shorts, Cock-a-Doodle Dog and Cellbound. The MGM shorts still not assigned to a Blu-ray volume include:
Droopy's Good Deed
Homesteader Droopy
Henpecked Hoboes
Uncle Tom's Cabaña
Half-Pint Pygmy
Lucky Ducky
Cat's Meow
At least a couple of these will probably remain buried forever, but I guess a Volume 4 could include the rest plus some of his other WB cartoons?

Warner Archive's response to a question on their Facebook page...
The Blu-ray is a new 2021 1080p remaster from a 4K scan of our best preservation elements. The minor footage M-G-M cut from the original negative which referenced Italy for a reissue during WWII has yet to be located, despite decades of searching. This is the first remaster in more than 20 years.

Someone should let that reviewer know that
A Night in Casablanca is no longer with WB, and that ClassicFlix released a solid BD of it in Dec. 2020.

The Naked Spur is a 4K scan of the Technicolor negatives according to the Warner Archive Facebook page.
I saw this in a worn, but good color print back in 2005 ish at the egyptian. I remember being surprised at the time that the color wasn't that different from the VHS, meaning it didn't really pop. Looking forward to this restoration, because I'm guessing the one or two prints around used for telecine or that screening were probably one light quickies rather than reflective of original issue color timing.

They announced Night Shift, Tex Avery Screwball vol. 3, and Bedlam/The Ghost Ship prior to those three. This may be it.

Here's my writeup for
Children
domino harvey wrote: Sun Jul 03, 2016 1:29 pmChildren of the Damned (Anton M Leader 1964) I wasn’t a fan of
Village of the Damned, which took a decent premise and refused to explore it in any interesting way. On paper this quasi-sequel sounds even more flimsy— six genius kids from around the world are discovered to hold historic intellectual capacity and are gathered together in London, where they immediately form a collective and threaten the military and diplomatic figures of their varied nations. But I was surprised at how effective the film was, alternating intimidating shots of the little brats looking ominously at assorted adults with wry bits of British comedy from two of the specialists who first discover the existence of the kids. The ending here is strange and fatalistic in an unexpected way, and I’m not sure what to make of it but I give it props for going in such an unusual direction. Recommended.

If anyone was worrying, Naked Spur is looking pretty good...and could somebody erect a monument to Robert Ryan?
