Speaking of, they re-released Troop Beverly Hills in '19 for its 30th year anniversary, which hasn't been mentioned in this thread- watched it last night and had a blast. Definitely works better in adulthood than I imagine it ever could in childhood (more on that in another thread)

No matter how awful a Christmas movie is, there will be SOMEONE who will refer to it as a "seasonal classic" they watch every year. What's next, luxe special editions of Deck The Halls and Surviving Christmas...?

Christmas movies don't have to suck, but most of them do by design (or rather poor taste and broad aims).

Amazingly enough, Sony is issuing this on UHD in September. The included Blu-ray will have the television version as a special feature.
