One might get the impression from the BFI and CC covers that there are a lot more bare nipples in The Comfort of Strangers than there actually are. I almost wonder if the contract for promotional art stipulated something like "each of the four leads' names in the same font and size, and my name within inches of nipples"

Dance, Girl, Dance
The gold on the front cover is a metallic ink.

Yeah, it's pretty cool looking in person. I'm keeping mine next to my Flicker Alley Early Women Filmmakers set, which now finally feels complete

Looks like waiting-room literature at a psychiatrist's office.

The spine looks die cut or embossed... what do you wanna bet it's book/linen-bound like the Princess Bride?

That was my first thought, but what a silly idea. At least in The Princess Bride it makes sense, but this one gets a thematic-book packaging because "story" is in the title? Did they even see the movie?

Maybe they are doing it like a family photo album?

Let’s hope they have so much fun releasing a Baumbach film in book packaging that they remember to license and release the one literally named like a book

Oh crap I forgot about that one. Also didn't realize Domino specifically meant a Baumbach title. Well I'm done for the day.

I'm having a similar issue, I think, with the last photo of the Scorsese set not appearing (a thumbnail icon with the words "screen capture" shows below this picture of the set opened up and missing the disc and insert)

Having now seen the movie, it actually seems spot on and a reference to probably the most thematically-obvious shot in the movie. There were most certainly better things to do though.

An Unmarried Woman
The Cameraman

Just as a note: both were damaged in the mail so you'll notice a cut/break near the spine

Wow, I love the interior art for An Unmarried Woman. I assume it’s a reference to the artist character in the back half of the film? (If I’m remembering correctly.)
