I'm liking all the Bresson predictions. Hope they all pan out (and that DIARY OF A COUNTRY PRIEST miraculously makes it back in).

Universal's releasing it in about a month. If a Criterion edition is still planned, it probably won't come for at least a year or two.

Paramount, actually, but your point of being a year or two off is accurate.

Maybe the SE of Blue Is The Warmest Color finally drops? It will have been a year since the original release.

Sorry, when I looked up the studio that had it, I inadvertently referenced the UK release.

I did finally buy it during the BN sale, so probably!

Someone speculated in another thread that Tom Jones could be on the horizon, so I guess it could be that title as well.

Edit: Tom Jones appeared on a list of titles coming to either Criterion, Kino, or Twilight Time.

I feel like Tom Jones was such a no-brainer for either TT or Kino that the fact neither's released it yet seems like it must be with Criterion. But who knows

Do you have a link to that list by any chance?

I still hope it's The Loved One. I think it's one of the great comedies of the 20th century and it was done a disservice by Warner.

I seriously doubt Criterion wastes one of their Warner chits on it

Cries and Whispers, Ride the Pink Horse, and The Soft Skin, at least at the time of writing.
I hope there's a surprise Eclipse set thrown in for good measure, or March will be a really light month.

It's going to be an Eclipse comprised of nothing but special features for past Eclipse sets. 32 discs, $500.

I spoke too soon: Gates of Heaven/Vernon, FL and The Thin Blue Line are now up.

Oh, and Hoop Dreams.
