Even Dan Harmon knew the last episode sucked, but the fans made him change his mind. Ugh. He does admit that the Asian spy for Pierce episode, which I believe I tagged as the worst Community ep, is the worst episode, though.

The fans need to change his mind back.

I already made a joke before about domino and Harmon being one and the same, but seriously

Still not an outstanding comedy series (even snubbed from an article about snubs!)

If I looked like them, I'd probably pose for those kinds of pictures too. But it's a little sad that people on a show this smart feel the need to resort to that to get attention.

Dan Harmon is probably crying about this too, right?

Good lord. That video is glorious. Why is it that the vogue position of men these days is that stuff like this is suddenly conceived of and conducted the way the audition scene from Fame was? They obviously weren't forced to do this, and it looked like they had fun doing it. Not sure where the issue is here. There's this weird possessiveness that goes on sometimes - I saw Olivia Munn interviewed on some late night show at one point and she was talking about posing for Maxim, and that say what you will about Maxim, she wanted to do it - and she got tons of strange letters from male fans chastising her for doing it and telling her it cheapened her and she "doesn't have to" do that sort of thing to get attention. No offense intended to Matt or knives by saying this - but I think those kinds of presumptions are just as bad as good old fashioned misogyny.
Anyway - if anyone's interested in dropping by, that video will be playing on a loop on every rectangular screen in my house tonight for the next several hours. There'll be drinks and music provided.

My girlfriend wonders when the version with "the guys" (Donald Glover and Joel McHale? Danny Pudi? Ken Jeong? Chevy Chase?) is coming out, but I don't know if that's a feminist statement or just because she wants to.

I get that this is supposed to be all "girl-power, female empowerment, taking-charge-of-my-sexuality, fuck yeah" kind of deal. I'm sure they had a blast doing it, and , like I said, if I looked as good as them, I'd probably be in every magazine in my underwear, too. I'm not making a moral judgement about ladies who take their clothes off. I love people who take their clothes off. Maybe I'm just upset that it's not a picture of Chris Evans spanking Zac Efron.
In the end, it's really none of my business what they want to do with their bodies. I'm more disappointed in our society that encourages smart, funny, and beautiful women to prove that they are "in control" of their sexuality by posing for pictures in their underwear in "lesbian" fantasy scenarios targeted to straight men than I am disappointed in the women who do it. But considering everything that's fucked up about our society, this is peanuts.

Is Universal still so pissed that HD-DVD didn't win the format war that they refuse to release TV shows on Blu-ray?

I was actually naive enough to believe that they'd put out season 1 on BD at the same time as season 2 on BD.

Well then that makes even less sense since Sony invented Blu-ray and has always been its biggest cheerleader.
