They also issued the same kind of poster for the Fu Manchu box set, but it may be OOS now since it is not listed anymore on their site; there may well have been similar examples for other titles I am not aware of.

Robert Smith made a pretty good Hammer joke at The Cure's album release show in London the other day

Great to finally see The Ugly Duckling - seeing Bernard Bresslaw in a Hammer monster movie (well, sort of) makes me wonder that if he has played the Creature in Curse of Frankenstein as intented, who would have been Hammer's Dracula?

Bob Monkhouse, I reckon. There was always something vampiric about him.

Weirdly, I feel Dracula's "leading men" Michael Gough (as Holmwood) and John Van Eyseen (as Harker) would both better as the Count - both seem ill-suited to their roles.

Bresslaw is also in I Only Arsked, which I thought might have been jn this set. Despite the brownface (including Michael Ripper…) it’s a much more tolerable film than the On The Buses films as an example of sitcoms transferring to the big screen.

Bresslaw makes a great monster in the Doctor Who serial The Ice Warriors.
