Also, I only just talked to their rep yesterday afternoon to give my CC info and my box already came today. Is there any other DVD label who cares this much about their fans? \:D/
Goddam, I wish I'd known that was the case between placing the order and getting called for the card. I had to skip this sale because my card was stolen. Of course, the new card arrived right after the sale closed!

"Circle of Friends"? It's Circle of Trust, folks. We're happy to be of service, but let's get the name right!

Isn't it strange to be reminded of the time when Minnie Driver and Chris O'Donnell were being groomed for stardom?

Just to be clear about the LCD Soundsystem "Shut Up And Play The Hits" disc, all the music is mastered on the disc with nothing from the center channel, correct? I know of only 1 other disc that's done like this, which is "Portishead PNYC".

Does anyone else still have orders pending from the flash sale? I probably have nothing to worry about, but I thought it would have shipped by now.

Are there any other COT members waiting to be called?

I inquired via email and we are looking at early December for delivery. Major back orders.

Update: and the shipment arrived today.

I didn't get called until Tuesday night, and I sent my email order in less that two hours after the email went out. I'd assume you have nothing to worry about. They clearly got a huge response and have a relatively small staff, as their normal sales volume would merit.

Got my order yesterday, and was happy to see that both of the movies I'd ordered arrived in good shape. These are the first two O-scopes I've bought, and I wasn't sure how their cardboard packaging would ship, but both were pristine.

Hey all,

We're trying to help Susan Ray (wife of Nicholas Ray) raise money for her newest documentary, a cinematic masterclass with Nicholas Ray titled ACTION! Contribute if you can, there's a bunch of cool incentives for donating including copies of our latest release WE CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN (Ray's final film), the companion doc DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH, you could even win some of Nicholas Ray's leather-bound shooting scripts or some of his wardrobe.

Check it out:

I thought Oscilloscope is releasing "Samsara", but this says MPI...
Did Oscilloscope handle it theatrically only?

I see that Wuthering Heights was announced on Blu-ray but there's no mention at all of features - does anyone know if there'll be any bonus features/what they'll be?

We just recently announced our special features for the Blu-ray and DVD of WUTHERING HEIGHTS:
- Video essay by David Fear of Time Out New York
- Theatrical trailer

Also, Oscilloscope is gearing up to release REALITY, the latest film by Matteo Garrone (director of GOMORRAH) on March 15th. For any of you based in the New York area, we're actually having a talk next week with Matteo Garrone and Film Scholar Antonio Monda (who is on the special features of The Life Aquatic Criterion DVD, and I believe has collaborated with Criterion on other releases as well).

Here's more info about the talk at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York City -- it's happening on Monday, March 4th at 5:00pm

It's a must if you haven't seen it. See it on as big a screen as you can.

Do all Oscilloscope releases go OOP at some point?
