Rookie Of The Year had Bruce Altman as the mildly evil stepfather trying to make as much coin on the kid as possible. Both fine actors but I'm surprised that between the two, Altman seems to still be getting more high-profile supporting stuff. I think the last thing I remember Busfield in was a few spots on Damages.
Denis Leary played the stepfather in this, a 180 from the things he was being known for at the time.
