THIS. And it's sad, because despite loving Welcome Freshmen in the '90s, I can't remember a damn thing about it now. Same situation with Roundhouse.

What perplexes me about the shows mentioned in the press release is the inclusion of Danny Phantom, a show which is more recent than the others. (It premiered in 2004, whereas Rocko's Modern Life premiered in 1993, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters in 1994, Hey Arnold! in 1996, and The Wild Thornberrys in 1998.) Also, was it ever quite as popular as the others mentioned?

No love for Dennis the Menace season 1? I used to dig on this show when it was first shown on the burgeoning Nick at Nite time slot.

Over Salute Your Shorts? They need to employ me as a 90s pop culture guru because there's a priorities problem over at Shout

Are you talking about the old 50's live action show, or the 80's animated show? My father was a "supervising associate producer" on the animated one, according to IMDB. Even he has no idea what that credit means.

Not a Nick property since they were just airing the syndicated reruns. It is already available on DVD though (coincidentally from Shout! Factory).

RIGHT ON! I'd be the happiest person alive if the 2nd-4th seasons of this came out on DVD (Season 1 is available but it sucks compared to the next three).

Kind of off-topic, but speaking of Shout!, more Nickelodeon has been announced: Hey Arnold! and The Angry Beavers.

Also, as has been discussed ad nauseum at the Shout! forums, the Rocko's Modern Life set will NOT be uncut, apparently by Nickelodeon's request. So that's that.

For anyone following the Amanda Bynes bizarreness of the past couple months: Bynes has finally been held for a mental health evaluation after setting a fire in a stranger's driveway

The greatest worst show of all time, My Brother and Me, is coming out via CreateSpace. I am tempted to break my no DVD-Rs rule, though I could probably recite every episode from memory given that Nick only produced thirteen episodes and aired them daily on weekends for at least six or seven years.

I vaguely recall that one being on the air; why do you consider it the greatest worst show ever?

"Don't hold your brrreath!"

How on earth did this get pushed this through for release? There's no market for contemporary indie films on blu-ray but there's a market for this?

Because it is awful in every possible metric used to judge a TV show, and yet I saw it so many times as a kid that I have great fondness for its terribleness. I imagine most 90 kids understand the feeling!

Oh man, I remember feeling really conflicted as a traditionally raised boy when I saw those Polly Pocket commercials, at least until Mighty Max came out.
