How often do they have these sales? I'm burned out now, but I really want the Bava titles and Rififi some day, so I kinda want to try and coordinate a future purchase.

They seem kind of random to me, and different things go on sale at different times. I'll usually see something on Twitter or get an email from them or just happen to browsing their site and then get sucked into spending £50+ to get the free shipping ](*,)

The Bava titles are great though, imo. I'm not an expert, but I have most of his Arrow stuff and they look much better than the ones I've seen in U.S. release (Black Sabbath is one in particular). Multiple cuts and audio tracks, commentaries, and extras like "I, Vampiri" make the releases well worth the import. I think I've picked up 90% of mine while on a pretty good sale, and all directly from Arrow.

I'm trying to place an order with Arrow's website, but the first step in the checkout process is to register a new account or login to an existing account. I don't have an existing account, but when I hit the Continue button to create a new account, nothing happens. I can't figure out how to move on further in the checkout process. Anyone have any insight?

Try clearing your browser's cache and starting again.

I had this exact same issue last month during the flash sale... and unfortunately missed it. If you figure it out please let me know. I contacted Arrow but never received a response.

Read a little bit of the previous discussion on this page of the thread to see if it's the same problem I encountered (sounds like it) and if wllm995's suggestions works for you the way it did for me.

How do other Americans go about getting their Arrow releases online? Lately, the prices on Amazon.uk have been a bit steep. Are there good deals through Arrow directly?

Arrow direct is good for international customers. Free international shipping with orders over £50.

Zavvi has good prices on Arrow titles, and currently there's a 10% off pre-orders coupon 10SOON.
"Sullivan's Travels" is only £11.69 with the coupon, much lower than anywhere else.

Have Arrow abandoned their Early Bird Specials? All of the Q3 pre-orders have significantly higher prices at the moment.

This is sad, especially after I noticed Zavvi isn't cheaper than them on newly announced releases! I still might go with Zavvi though since they charge you when shipped and offer free European delivery on everything. On the other hand Arrow's rewards program is 10 times more generous than Zavvi's.

The last two big direct Arrow sales were at the start of December and March, so I feel like we're due for another one soon.

Yeah, but that will only apply to old titles and I have everything I want except for 2 or 3.
