As someone who finds self-destruction through self-flagellation incredibly interesting on a very personally relatable -and, to sublimate it, professional- level, you guys are really making me turn my heels on this one…

Some good news on the
Raging Bull audio concerns. Here’s what “Jon Mulvaney” send back in response to my message of concern about the audio, which I accompanied with the link to the DVD vs Blu 2.0 track comparison.
Thank you for your interest in our upcoming release of RAGING BULL! We appreciate your feedback and concern.
We're only releasing the original LtRt (Dolby Stereo) track sourced from a 1980 3 track mag - no 5.1 or 2.0 fold down of the 5.1.
We believe you'll be pleased with the results but let me know if you have any other questions. Best,
JM

I'm encountering freezing and skipping issues with my 4K disc from about 1:30:00 to 1:40:00...is this a known issue with this title? I'd like to request a replacement disc from Criterion but I don't think I've ever tried to do this for a title that hasn't officially been recalled. The disc is new and free of any visible scratches.

I think they've generally provided replacements for individually defective discs. But if you ordered from anyone other than them, they might tell you to contact the vendor for a replacement first.

I've contacted them on several occasions regarding discs that aren't flagged with known issues, and they've always been willing to replace the disc without ever asking where I purchased it from. The key is to write in your email that you've tried cleaning the disc, etc. otherwise they'll make you go through a process first

I know I am replying to an old post but I never heard this from Criterion before. So they knew there were serious audio concerns and said you'll be pleased with the results but their stereo track ended up worse than old laserdisc and DVD how? The audio comparison link on the last page has the 4K disc now and say it is muffled and off balance. This is backed up with video comparisons and I am stunned I didn't notice how bad it sounded the few times I watched the 4K disc.
