I know this is an old question, but can anyone confirm whether or not Warner actually released The Damned, Death in Venice, and Day for Night in amaray cases.

The ones in the box are definitely all in Amaray cases. That is the only way you can get The Damned, Death in Venice, and Day for Night in amarays. I bought the whole box at Costco for $35, and sold Gloomy Sunday and A Very Long Engagement.

I just got ripped off by an online retailer.

I’d just like to add that I recently bought the single disc edition of Night For Day (at 5.99 in the Warners sale I was not able to resist), and like Gigi M. I received a snapper

Damn. You’d think they would have gotten rid of these now.

So it appears you have to buy the over-priced box set to get an amaray of this film.
