I'll ask for screencaps! I'm reading the novel now so I could use a picture.

That makes two of us asking! Anyone willing to oblige?

Already went through the whole of this marvelous set and it is my deep belief that all these years of waiting really paid off. City Lights Media is to be commended on the production of one of the best DVD packages of the year. The movie has never looked or sounded better and every single one of the extra features is worthy of your time, especially the feature-length docu to be found on the second disc, Tangled Web. What a fascinating story lurked behind the making of this classic!

I won't go into a deep explanation on why this movie is so close to my heart as I would be exposing a tad too much about myself but let's just say that it still manages to move me like very few. One of the reasons why I cannot live without the cinema.

The video quality of the Blu-ray edition is the worst transfer I have seen yet in this format. The image looks like it was ported over from 3/4 inch tape with numerous drop outs and bluish speckles.

The scenes of the film within the film which are in soft focus are almost too blurry to view in this edition.

It's great to have this gem available at last. Nicer still if a better job was done on the presentation.

Sounds like the same master used for The Guardian's freebie!
