So has anyone seen the documentary "Danielson: A Familie Movie"? It's based on the band (really!)) but mainly on Daniel Smith. If you're not familiar with a group, they're usually described as weird Christian indie experimental music with a strong visual relationship. There's a great scene where Danell and his wife sit down to watch "Salesman". He already shot a photo series of an art project he'd like to do, where he'd go door-to-door and sell his handmade wears and play music for the potential customers. The photos are great and what he says about commerce meeting art meeting religion is pretty interesting (the movie itself is quite good, in my opinon.)

I remember several years ago when the Br. Danielson record came out wondering why he was selling expensive handmade merch, so it was pretty illuminating to finally put it all together in the doc. As a side note, the DVD for the Danielson Famile Movie is one of the best of the year, absolutely packed with a vast wealth of bonus materials.
