Other than Show People, do they plan to release any other Marion Davies films? Movies that come to mind are The Patsy, Going Hollywood, Page Miss Glory, Marianne (silent/talkie), and Blondie of the Follies. What is the status of the Norma Shearer films, will there be a Clark Gable Vol 2 set this year and are I'll Cry Tomorrow and I Married A Witch! still coming??

Sylvia Scarlett is RKO picture, so Universal controls it in U.K. aka it's going to be a crappy transfer since Warner owns better print material in the U.S.

I guess this proves the old adage "to each, his own". I think it's kind of weird that someone with her incredible dancing talent, could be so lacking in charisma. I do hope that Warners releases Born To Dance, but more for Una Merkel, Sid Silvers, and a young Buddy Ebsen. Is that the one where he dances on the rooftop in a Mickey Mouse sweater?

I don't wanna see it for her acting. She was a very wooden actress, but when she danced, she came to life and the production numbers are exceptional. I'm not the only one who wants these movies.

what about Borzage's films: Strange cargo and The mortal storm ?

why did WB stop including Spanish subtitles in R1 new releases?

there's an Ettore Scola film by WB Germany , Drama della gelosia. only for Germany ? not for the resto of R2, ¿Spain?

I wouldn't mind checking on the possibility of an all 3D boxset (with the 3D versions of "Kiss Me Kate," "Dial 'M' for Murder" and "House of Wax," among others).

But, let's be honest with ourselves. We're just gonna get a bunch of people asking the same questions about "House of Dark Shadows" that we get every year.

Barrie Maxwell at The Digital Bits said that The Mortal Storm was in production for dvd release as well as The Secret Six, Virginia City, Silver River, and Black Legion.

I keep hearing this title thrown around on movie message boards and how bad they want it released. i kept sayin, "what the hell is this is movie about?" so i checked on imdb and from the plot summary, this film seems amazing. people must be requesting it badly for a reason. when it's released, i'm positive WB won't disappoint.

I won't be able to attend the chat, so I hope someone is sure to ask if there's any progress on The Sea Wolf, Ball of Fire, Virginia City, or The Strawberry Blonde.

I remember them saying last year that they were looking for a 35mm print of The Sea Wolf before the release it on DVD. Here's hoping they found it.

Strawberry Blonde is reasonably secure; it's recently been announced as "in production"

I hope Strawberry Blonde is a two discer that includes The Men Who Made the Movies: Raoul Walsh. It just *has* to be. They skipped including it on They Died With Their Boots On, White Heat, Captain Horatio Hornblower, Objective Burma!, The Roaring Twenties and Gentleman Jim so far.

Would someone care to inquire about that to the Warner chat?

Virginia City is in production already. It won't come out till 2008 though because they already said no Bogart films would be out in 2007.

If anyone's able to get a mention in for Last Summer, I'd be very grateful.

So can we all step into the chat room here (for the first time) for simultaneous commentary. I hope to be there.

I know this title has been dismissed in the past, but with the director's showcase line releasing somewhat smaller films from notable directors (like The Butcher Boy, which many thought was never marketable for release), could someone ask if there are any plans to include Cronenberg's M. Butterfly onto DVD?

I'm not going to be able to attend the chat, so I'd REALLY appreciate it if someone could ask about this title.

Does anyone have any information on Aldrich's Twilight's Last Gleaming? Specifically, whether we are getting the theatrical cut, or Aldrich's own personal extended cut, which just recently screened at the Lincoln Center? I really wanted to catch it, but the timing didn't work out.

Assuming the chat doesn't get distracted by the same SUPERMAN fans who hijacked the chat last year, can we make sure that this year Ken Russell and Lubitsch's Merry Widow (and Stroheim's for that matter) get brought up? Thanks.
