I wonder if he'll be directed by ScarJo in her film.

Wow, some awesomely second- and third-string directors contributing to this project.

In this
interview, Allen states that he has no involvement with this film at all.
By the way, what are you and Scarlett doing for that anthology film, I Love New York? The paper said you're each directing one of the shorts?
That was a total, total fabrication on my part. Not on my part, I mean about me. I have no idea if or what she is doing for it. I've heard nothing. I am in no way connected with it, nor have I ever been.

I'm interested in the Hughes brother's segments, but really there are some real surprises on this one... Johanson, Portman, Ratner? It looks like they are trying to push it to the mainstream.... We'll see I guess.

Yes, every other Hollywood film is essentially 'New York, I Love You' anyway. New York's endlessly photogenic, but c'mon. How about
Spokane, I Sort of Tolerate You?

How bad does an entry into a portmanteau film have to be to not make the cut?
Ask Scarlett Johansson

Here's the
trailer. Scarlett Johansson's short must've been truly awful to be cut from this.

Way too cute and not nearly as good as Paris, Je t'aime. The French film could be a little hit-or-miss; its American cousin is more so. Then again, I woulda liked it more if there were fewer bobos.
