I think his last two have been pretty puzzling, though - they've been two of the worst-reviewed movies to get Picture noms, at least in the internet era. Rob Marshall makes Academy catnip, too, and neither Geisha nor Nine got Picture noms.

For that I'd have to assume Weinstein. Those guys know how to get nominations.
