It's actually quite yellow-ish, and is typical of lots of French movies from that era. You can also check Alexandre le bienheureux, L'homme de Rio, La collectionneuse, Mon oncle Benjamin, etc etc.

The yellow isn't the problem. It's the lack of green. Compare with the MoC edition screenshots. Different scenes have different colours! I find the french Blu ray is depressing.

I know the difference of timing, because that's exactly the one you could find when comparing former DVD releases of the BD titles I wrote above. The question is : which are the most accurate ? The more balanced DVDs, or the yellow-ish / lacking green BDs ?
I tend to favor the BDs, because I like to believe that the DVDs were made by having CRT-monitors and wide audience in minds, while the BDs can try to be more accurate, even if it's less appalling. But I might be wrong.
