Yes, "squashed" is a better way to put it. DVDShrink tells me that the file size of the film is 4.2GB, so presumably it takes up one layer whilst the extras added by Axiom (3.3GB) are housed on the other. I haven't looked at the transfers side-by-side, but have little doubt that it's a direct port (which means that the Axiom disc is utterly superfluous for those, like me, who have the Cameo). I'm surprised that Noel from DVD Times didn't notice or mention the slight distortion of the image...

perhaps this should go in the screencaps thread, but I like it here.
The difference is pretty extreme, to me:

Yes, that's probably the most striking illustration of it so far.
On a side note, is she holding that book upside-down?

Yes, it really is when you look at the images next to each other...
Right, how do I adjust the AR to 1.66 in order to burn a new disc? I'm going to need some tips or a mini-tutorial here!

it depends on what system you have. I did it on a Mac using Mac the Ripper to rip the DVD, MPEG Streamclip to losslessly convert it to Apple ProRes HQ, Final Cut Pro for adjusting the AR, Compressor to convert it back to MPEG2, and DVD Studio Pro to burn the DVD. I'm sure there are tons of simpler ways to do it, but this is the way I know.

Bugger, I knew it would be complicated! Thanks for the run-down, but unfortunately I don't have a Mac - does anybody know how to do it with non-Mac/Windows software?
