Daniel Clowes designed the cover for "Ghost World" which is based on his own comic. He also did the "Shock Corridor" and "The Naked Kiss" reissues. If Criterion ever releases Solondz's "Happiness", I hope they use Clowes' poster for the cover.

I wondered about that, given my initial reaction to the Ghost World artwork. Still two of my least favorite covers, those Fullers.

The Before Trilogy

I had to upload them to Facebook for now but you don't need an account to look at them.

I still have my $39.99 preorder from Amazon, which is pretty sweet.

And here's the link to it on this site for those that don't want to go to Facebook.

yeah that was a pretty sweet deal indeed! but considering getting hit by customs here in The Netherlands (with the limit being € 22,- for all non-EU orders) it might be expensive after all :p
might take the shot after all, hoping to not get hit by customs.

I have to say, the Before Trilogy box cover looks pretty nice in person.

I found this on instagram and it is from an ad in Film Comment (and I assume this is the DVD version) but this is what the Blow-Up set will look like

So, Criterion calls a multi page fold out a booklet. Sigh. Referring to His Girl Friday.

Blow-Out looks as thick as The Decalogue set. Yikes.

I believe Blow-Up prefers to be called "thick".

All those digipacks are put on the shelf backwards.

I actually shelve them the way in the picture, too. It's so the cover art is on the right side when pulled off the shelf, matching all the cases.

I tried it captveg's way once. Just once.

I'm with Captveg. All the cover art is facing right. Like good little soldiers. :)

Ooops, actually just checked and the Citizen Kane and Bridge on the River Kwai digipaks have the cover art facing left. So, Warner and Sony do things a little different than Criterion.

Hey, do it your way. But it's still backwards! :)

I shelve my digipaks with the open side out until I finish watching everything on the disc and reading the book(lets), then I switch them so the closed side faces out.

Then when I've watched and read everything a second time, I move them to a hole I've dug in my unfinished basement where I give them a proper burial

I practice comical unlikely behaviors with my digipaks
