The separate release of Woman didn't even get mentioned here? I'm wondering if that one appearing in Blu-ray only is a safe indication that this set will not be upgraded to UHD anytime soon.

This is from Reddit less than a month ago. Considering that it's Reddit, take it with a gigantic salt lick:

Criterion really wanted to release a 4K and the licensor kept refusing to permit them—I assume they want to keep the 4K DCP for theatrical exhibition only—but Criterion knew some would be interested in merely owning A Woman Under the Influence from that set, so they gave up on trying to license the 4K DCP and decided to just reissue their current BD as a standalone.

Should further clarify (just in case you're unaware) that no new work was done on the standalone blu-ray, the mastering was done over a decade ago. As with most things, I'm sure we'll see this come along eventually, but considering it's Criterion I'd be unsurprised if they use the same film scans they did way back then unless we hear anything to the contrary - encouraging that it sounds like the licensor won't let them until a new restoration can be released theatrically - that's a good indicator if anything
