A quick check at Amazon shows Nine Queens is really expensive, so presumably neglected and in the wheelhouse of what Criterion does best. If someone at Criterion watches this thread to get opinions at all, I hope they spot it! Anyway, insofar as people seem to have forgotten what a great movie it was, I've done my bit.
And the Gregory Jacobs/Soderbergh-ghost-scripted remake, Criminal, could be included as an extra!

When do they post the new titles?
Is it the 15th each month?

It's usually the 15th, unless that date happens to fall on a weekend or a holiday. Expect them Monday.

I wonder if they ever thought about just announcing a title a week instead. Gives individual titles more hype when they're announced.

Ashes and Diamonds, following on The Ascent, Touki bouki, Trances, and Visions of Eight, confirms that raiding their old box sets for standalone releases is a thing.

Meanwhile they still haven't released The Last Picture Show standalone, following back-to-back late-spring releases of Five Easy Pieces and Easy Rider in 2015 and 2016... Institutional Bogdanovich resentment confirmed

I'm hoping the low output this month means they're releasing a big box set next month.

Perhaps, though while not Big Boxes, June was their most prolific month of the year and had 4/6 titles as multi-film releases

Beasts never got any announcement that I had seen, and I would have noticed because I love the film. I had just referenced Beasts in another thread recently as being essentially a forgotten movie already due to how quickly Netflix moves on in their promotion. Meanwhile Atlantics and Animal Factory are approaching a year and a half that they were announced, but not truly announced yet.

Not really. Nice to see they're working on older Netflix titles (in this case their first original film, apparently). Hoping for The Meyerowitz Stories (and also Mank when they get around to the 2020 releases)

July and August both unusually light, I wonder what it is that is both big, and getting delayed several months... Citizen Kane? big filmmaker box?

July wasn’t light, there were the standard five titles, two of which were long-time coveted releases. July also doesn’t seem to typically be a box-set month, so very normal
