Bodysong clip

In the documentary Bodysong, about a dozen seconds past the 1 hour mark, there is an odd bit of old footage, in which a woman bends over backwards, plants her head and feet on the ground and then somehow scurries around herself in a circle, twisting her hips neatly as required. Then a small dog jumps up on her raised up mid-section, and she proceeds to do the weird scamper-around-while-bent-over-backwards routine again with the dog standing on top of her. The whole routine is fairly brief and looks like it shouldn't be physically possible. Really a pretty amazing stunt.

Does anyone know what this is from?
The dvd promises that the http://www.bodysong.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; website gives insight into all of the clips used, but the site seems to be blocked in China (possibly due to a number of brief shots of sexual acts).
From the look of it the clip I'm talking about is from the early days of cinema.

EDit: got through to the Bodysongs site via http://www.channel4.com/culture/microsi ... bsite.html#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It just lists that clip as "Lady Acrobat with Dog" and says it is from the early 1900's, without much else except a general description of her act. Might be on youtube, if that too wasn't blocked in China.
<sigh> guess I'll have to get a decent proxy server up and running.

Can anyone identify this moviemaker, who crops up in Godard's Le Gai Savoir, and Histoire(s) du cinéma too, if memory serves.

Name that Polish movie:

This is stupid.

I've been reading Kieslowski on Kieslowski and he mentions a false memory of seeing an elephant walking down the street when he was a child, something his mother refuted. This reminded me of seeing a Polish movie a few years ago, a fairly modern film, late nineties, early aughts, that in the final scene featured an elephant walking through the street in winter. I remember nothing else other than I enjoyed the film.

Anyone have any idea as to what the film might be?

Any chance you're confusing an elephant with a camel coz it sounds mighty like a Jerzy Stuhr film Duze Zwierze.

Nope. It was in colour and set in a large(ish) city. The elephant only popped up completely randomly in the last scene.

A shame, because that would have been the ideally satisfying answer, since Stuhr's film was based on a Kieslowski script.

Could someone identify a Korean film for me? I hve a fragment on my PVR recorded from British TV in about 2006. It's the start of a film: children playing in a corn field, then some guys turn up and discover a body in a draining pipe on the side of the field.

Can someone identify the film from that opening?

TIA

Sounds like the opening to Memories of Murder to me, though the elements seem fractured.

Not entirely sure if it's from a movie or TV show, but does anyone recognize the dialog clip used at the beginning of this Mark McGuire track? I haven't come up with anything in some cursory Google and IMDB searches.

It's from an episode of "Northern Exposure", the TV show.

I think the last one is Nick Broomfield's trashy Kurt and Courtney.

I'm 80% sure the second one is from The Rocky Horror Picture Show - probably during the There's a Light song.

Need help identifying two movies

Hello all,

First of all, I am SOO glad I found this forum after much searching, it was very hard to find a site where I could likely get my questions answered.
So thank you to all who were/are involved in making this forum available.

I am trying to identify two films or possibly shows I have no idea which.
One is mine, one is for a friend who asked me.
This is going to be a really tough one, because of the extremely limited material recalled.

I was at home channel surfing and I saw some kind of either movie, made-for-tv-movie (more likely), or it could have been a show.
It was definitely in the genre of sci-fi or fantasy.
The only real image I remember is that the characters and the scenery were in a dizzying array of mind-boggling colors. Like a paint pallet containing every possible color imaginable had exploded all over the scene. I remember there was some sort of female character. Every person(or whatever) and all the surrounding scenery were so thoroughly covered with dizzying array of mixed up colors. That's ALL I remember about imagery. But I am quite certain it was either sci-fi or fantasy. It may very well have been the SyFy channel, but I am not certain. I can also add that when I saw it was sometime around winter of 2009, give or take a few months. Definitely PRIOR to summer of 2009, and definitely later than summer 2008. I remember this because it was in my previous home during the last few months that I lived there before moving.
Given that it was on TV it was assuredly not a NEW movie released in theaters, so that's additional narrowing down.
It is driving me crazy because I really would like to see it, regardless of how bad it is :)

Okay, on to the second one; this one will more likely be easier because there's a very specific image my friend remembered about it:
This is what he recalls seeing:
Scenery is sort of like a post-apocalyptic background... lost of barrenness with scatterings of ruins of structures.
He remembers some type of "soldier" among a few others, who gets "shot" or attacked in some fashion by something I cannot recall, but thinks maybe was "alien." The distinctive thing was a bright green slash forming across the soldier's chest and after a few seconds of gasping the solder drops, dead.

So... please please - any possibilities whatsoever for either of them, just throw out names and I can look them up and see if they are what we are seeking.

Thanks, in advance, for any help anyone can provide.

Dan

Addendum:
Firstly, thank you for placing this post in the appropriate thread... I'm new and had not noticed there was a dedicated sticky for this type of thing.
Second, Regarding my friend's item with the soldier and the green slash-death... he said he saw it on TV sometime in late 1980s.
Thanks.

Mr. Peacock and Mr. Zedz, thank you very much for your help, I got it! I would like to ask for help with one picture from TV show and I thought it was Kung Fu or Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, but neither is it. Do You have any idea? Thank's a lot.

I have no idea what show that's from, but I can at least help narrow it down by saying that it's obviously parodying Bruce Lee and his movie Enter the Dragon, so I'd look among comedy sketch shows for the answer.

Well that certainly does have lots of colors, but it was more campy and the colors were more like the people were painted and the colors were gaudy not tasteful. They were literally sickeningly colorful. And it wasn't anything so literal looking as Dreams... it was more like the cheapest low budget crud you can imagine seeing.

Also I recently recalled there was some kind of structure in the middle of the scene... sort of like a tree of some kind... it was an indoor scene I am pretty sure, but whatever the structure was it seemed to resemble some kind of tree and I think some of the characters were climbing on it or something. This could just be a very badly recalled memory so it may not have been a tree at all. Sorry to babble but I am really just trying to get as much of the imagery from my memory out so someone might recognize it.
