The music from Pink Floyd was written specifically for the film (not sure how those kind of licensing rights work). Probably
the most expensive to license would be the Stones' You Got the Silver (that wasn't even included on the soundtrack album).

On the other hand, it would be nice if Floyd's Come in Number 51 Your Time is Up was placed back over the closing
credit rather than the Roy Orbison tune (I don't remember where I first read about this, but I'm fairly sure Antonioni
had originally intended the Floyd music to close out the film).

Only VS would use a WB chit for that rat movie

So Utopia are just re-releasing We're All Going to the World's Fair.. are there new features?

I see Affection stars Jessica Rothe from the Happy Death Day movies. Shame she never got much traction for those but I don’t think this is a blind buy I’ll be making

Has anyone seen Aloïse? Anything with Isabelle Huppert is usually for me.

I have not, but my only LB friend who's seen it compares it to Dumont, so I'm cautiously intrigued

In 2013, I saw a double feature of an advance screening of Star Trek Into Darkness and the original Robocop, with Peter Weller in attendance for both. He did an intro for Star Trek and said he would be back for Robocop, but wouldn’t be watching Star Trek with us because he had to get on a Skype call to defend his PhD dissertation.

Alamo Drafthouses are screening Schoenbrun's previous films (including World's Fair) this month up until the release date for Teenage Miasma and Sex at Death Camp if you want to preview before purchasing.

We're All Going to the World's Fair is also leaving the Criterion Channel at the end of this month.

Correct, they had announced there would be no release this month.

Although I can't see any reason to replace my Polish BD, I can thoroughly recommend Corpus Christi, the best film by one of the most consistently intriguing of the younger generation of Polish filmmakers.

I vividly remember it being such a hot ticket at the relevant Gdynia Film Festival that I couldn't get into any of the screenings, which was the first time that had ever happened to me—and when I finally caught up with it courtesy of that Polish BD I could see why.

I purchased the 2020 Film Movement release of Corpus Christi so see no need to double dip. I did however purchase 8 OCN titles: Aloise, The Wailing (Blind Buy), Joan of Arc, Kontinental '25, Young Mothers, My Sole Desire, Chambermaid (Blind Buy) & Macho Dancer.

Only disappointed that Muscle Video didn't release anything this month. I'm hanging out for Going Down.

Does the Polish BD have any advantages compared to this US BD?

I got to see Jeunes Meres in February and it is indeed top-tier Dardennes. A masterpiece through and through. Every one of those young actresses is Oscar-worthy. The brothers’ invisible staging and blocking techniques yet again ensure that not a moment is wasted. I don’t know how they do it, but thank goodness they’re still doing it, and at the level they’re doing it. They haven’t lost a step, maybe have even gained a few since this script is different for them as it follows five different characters and features a host of supporting parts, all embodied realistically.

They also remain extraordinarily lucky with recording

easily the most heartbreaking baby smile in movie history.

The film is Criterion-worthy, but it gets unceremoniously shunted out via Music Box. At least they gave it a physical release at all. Buy with extreme confidence.

Sounds like Kissed will be a future CIP release, as they just posted news of the new 4K TIFF premiere on their Instagram stories.
