I don't know that its reputation has grown at all but it certainly seems like anything of Hitchcock's is a welcome addition. It's really a pity that all of the cut footage seems to be gone forever.
Hitchcock titles (and Straw Dogs) aside, there are other significant titles in that ABC Pictures library I'd like to see Criterion license. But I wonder if the continued 3-year licensing cycles Disney allows for that library would be prohibitive. Maybe Disney would change their minds this time.

Just those four. Lifeboat is owned by Fox outright, and I believe The Lodger, Sabotage and Young and Innocent are BFI owned (but I'm not 100% on that).

Those last three are all coming from Criterion anyways-- I forgot there weren't that many other titles in that recipe book-looking set!

If I order these from Amazon.com, will they be DVD-R's?
How can I ensure I get pressed DVD's?
The items are not yet posted on Warner Archives own site, but they are up on Amazon.

Good news: All Warner Archive Blu-Ray releases are pressed regardless of where you buy 'em. It's only their DVDs you have to worry about

The Big Sleep has new extras not included on the original release-- is this a first for a WA Blu-Ray?

*Typical noiradelic righteous indignation in WAC thread here.*

Really thought they'd do a mainline Bogie-Bacall set a la the first Gangsters collection. If top-tier Bogie isn't mainline-worthy, then what not-yet upgraded B&W films are?

Far from Madding Crowd blu from Warner Archive included an Original location featurette that was not on their DVD, but was also included on StudioCanal blu-ray among other extras.

Just stupid. I hope this will not be the case with The Big Sleep and Key Largo.

New Blu-Ray is 1.77:1, should the alternate ratio be 1.33:1? (and more importantly, which did Hitchcock prefer?)

A Hollywood studio release from the late 50s would not have been 1.37

Though 1.66:1 wasn't exactly common for Hollywood productions either, especially from a studio like Warner Bros.

Though Rear Window from 1954 is 1.66. To Catch A Thief from 1955 was VistaVision, as well, so Hitch was already making widescreen films by the time of The Wrong Man.

They have included two covers as per this video they posted on their FB page. https://www.facebook.com/warnerarchive/videos Somebody needs to define "Reversible sleeve" to them

I don't know if both covers will come with it. It may just be showing how they changed it to the red one.

If it does come with both it's probably because they changed it late in the printing.

What's with the weird grunting noises that guy was making throughout the video?

It's a weird thing their video guys do. They have the "whaaa?..." and "a-haaa!" mumbly noises for some reason.
