I already have those first three so only interested in the last one (but already have the Arrow disc). Didn't expect another offer 'til November/December, like last year. Oh well, means I can probably pick up plenty in the next offer (The Music Room, Lord of the Flies, Certain Women, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World etc).

Normally the UK announcements are around the 22nd of the month, am I right? Seems weird that there no mention of any new UK ones yet...

The January titles are 3:10 to Yuma and Ivan's Childhood, probably not mentioned because they are incredibly underwhelming. (The blu-ray.com forum is pretty pissed if you want to have a look over there)

Those are the October releases. 3:10 and Ivan are January releases.

Oh my bad. Couldn't find anything on Amazon.co.uk as well. I'll probably pick up Ivan then, unless the AE is better.
But I think this is more a rights issue than it is Criterion's doing

The differences with the AE releases of Ivan's Childhood and Solaris are negligible in the transfer department, but the extras are obviously different. I already have the AE release of Ivan's Childhood, but will eventually double-dip (in a future 2 for £25 offer most likely).

Very underwhelming announcements though. 3:10 to Yuma was already submitted to the BBFC months ago, so we knew it was on its way, and we could have predicted yet another Tarkovsky clash (seems they'd rather compete with other UK labels/editions than fill in much-needed gaps in the market). What gives with them skipping all these recent must-have Warner Bros announcements, with the exception of The Philadelphia Story? Let's hope they redeem themselves later in the year.

February's titles are SOMETHING WILD (February 5th) and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (February 19th). Definitely getting both; the former is my favourite Demme film, the latter a definitive edition of something already released twice on UK Blu-ray (and they'll finally get it right this time).

Yes, and they are the same as those in the US collection. The only change that I've noticed on the UK editions I have from the US ones is that the BBFC logo is on the front and back cover, and the disc. And the different region coding!

The unofficial @ukcriterion is saying it's The Awful Truth and La Cage Aux Folles.

The 2 pages are up on Amazon, with a release date of Apr 2th for La cage aux folles and April 23rd for The Awful Truth.

La Cage and Something Wild are MGM licences, so I guess it's possible.

As has been speculated elsewhere though, you would think they would announce it at the same time as the US, as they have been doing for most new restorations where they have the rights in both territories (generally Sony/Janus titles, but not always). In fact, the same month they announced The Silence of the Lambs for North America, here in the UK we got Something Wild instead - obviously still top-tier Demme, but not the blockbuster hit some of us were expecting to be announced.

The very fact they didn't announce it leads me to believe another UK label managed to grab it just before them. My guess is Arrow Video (I'd be pretty surprised if it was anyone else).
