Le dernier des injustes has been confirmed by MoC as a future release "on Masters of Cinema". But the other two haven't.

The last Sion Sono film they got their hands on (GUILTY OF ROMANCE) was released by Eureka themselves. Not that I'm bothered - anyone releasing English friendly Sono is worth majorly celebrating.

Will the (apparently) poor sales of Une femme mariée mean that we don't see any more Godard released by MoC? I've been holding off the Gaumont release of La chinoise in the hope that MoC release it sans DNR.

Anyone got any ideas when we'll hear about the MoC releases after September?
I'm particularly interested in Blu-ray, I am hoping there's more Murnau and Lang in the next year (Spione, "1000 Augen", Der Letzte Mann for example).
I'm also intrigued as to whether Eureka have rights for Intolerance, given they've released The Birth of a Nation.
There is a restoration by the Cohen Film Collection for Region A but Region B only appears to have one by Origemes del Cine (whether that's the company name or title of the range I don't know) which has got very poor reviews on Amazon.co.uk.

New annoucements are
coming in two weeks.
The Intolerance Blu-ray you mentioned was released in Spain by Divisa and it doesn't have any reviews on Amazon.co.uk, I checked and those comments were all for old DVD editions.

Thanks, difficult to know reading some of the comments whether they refer to the right product. Some are quite obviously not, so thanks for the input.
I wonder if company is willing to/can do the English release?

The selection and covers of the last few titles have been excellent. Even though I don't have any interest in musicals, I'll probably get The Gang's All Here just to see MOC work their magic on a technicolor film (is this the only one in the collection along with A Time To Love and Time To Die?

It is the only Technicolor film they have. The Sirk was Eastmancolor (any credit to Technicolor on the poster or in the opening/closing credits refers to how it was printed, not how it was shot). As a rule, the 3 strip Technicolor process was dead after 1952, with a handful of films using it until the very last one, Foxfire, in 1955.

I noticed that Eureka have just put Harold and Maude, Rapture and Too Late Blues on its own shop pages.
Anyone know why they don't bother with pre-orders which are longer than a few weeks?
I've already pre-ordered Das Cabinet, Frau and Faust but would rather do it from the Eureka site, given they are often the cheapest option anyway and if I can avoid giving a big online retailer a cut in favour of Eureka I will.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same way about this.

Technically, Too Late Blues is only out on July 21st and Rapture on July 28th, so it does offer a small advantage timing-wise.
However, indeed, they are included quite late in the newsletter, and it might just be a consequence of their recent numerous delays on some releases, which made them want to avoid any customer disappointment, including the new releases nly when they are sure to have some stock on time.
Anyway, I'm still only pre-ordering from them, and am still happy to do so.

Hypothetically speaking, if I were to start a kick starter to fund a 200ish page deluxe hardback book, that came with 10 blus and 14 DVDs (most of which are out already) 3 blus would be exclusive to the book set for six months, the whole thing would be individually numbered and limited to 1000 units, with varying levels of reward, how many people would back it? The product itself would probably RRP at £150. How many people would consider buying it?
Just thinking about something.
Ps, we're talking big book, bigger than a4 in physical page size.

Throwing in movies with a book sounds like slots to me and as much as I love MoC, I can't encourage slots

I can't imagine there would be a project MOC could undertake that I wouldn't back at some level. Would love to know the context of the book though! Hope they cross-post it here (who really loves you moc?)

As someone speculated there, it would seem as though the most likely candidate for this book would be Lang, though there are eight Blu-ray discs of his films either currently or imminently available, not seven. (The next closest is Imamura with five.)

Unless it was some company history summation thingamie like the Criterion's big Essential Arthouse set (which I don't think would be very interesting), there can't be that many possibilities, based on the number of directors MoC has explored thoroughly. Lang? Murnau? Pialat would be too much to hope for, and we can safely rule out a Mizoguchi triple-dip. Any others?

There's also an HD Master (albiet a bad one?) for the Indian Epic films, as well as the Spiders and those early films that Kino put out are still unreleased. Those could be the exclusives, I suppose.
