Hi Guys/Gals,

Apologies to anyone waiting for orders placed on Thursday/Friday, I had a funeral to attend on Friday and my "automated" system for generating the despatches for someone else to handle on Friday had a brain fart and decided to not automate.

I sent everything today 1st class, so they should still be with y'all well before release date.

Apologies for the delay.

Hey Eureka.

My Lubitsch in Berlin arrived today and let me be the first to say the set itself looks visually superb. However, the box holding the six slim-pack DVD cases has been crushed in transit and one of the corners is pretty badly dented. :( I'm not really sure how this has happened as the parcel containing the set doesn't look to be compromised and I've ordered from you guys three or four times before and never had any damage to the contents inside. The six-DVD cases inside appear to be fine (I say "appear" as I don't wish to remove the wrapper yet). Is there anything you could do?

Thank You

I had similar damage (no damage to the box too) to my Buster Keaton box I ordered quite a while ago from a Eurkea sale. Never bothered to post about it though. All other packages arrived safely.

They've already offered to replace it so I'm quite happy. :) The slipcase that houses the DVD slimpaks that is. Everything is else is fine as usual.

I'd post some pictures of the set but I don't have a camera and nor the cable for my camera phone.

Eureka and MoC really offer the best service out there.

About a month ago I ordered the Munch DVD from a third party seller on Amazon and the case arrived badly damaged. I emailed Nick about it asking if I could purchase a new case from them since they're pretty rare to come by. He kindly mailed one to me without asking for anything, even though he had nothing to do with the initial sale.

Talk about a swell guy.

Yup. Couldn't agree more. It's rare to have a combination of such great customer service and great products. I was going to hold off on purchasing the Lubitsch set but when they offered it early I was always going to buy it, safe in the knowledge that it would arrive promptly and if damaged it would be replaced hassle free.

Wow, you guys are fantastic! Yet another reason why I think you're the best label out there and why I own more than half of your releases already.

I would like to support these statements as well. I've ordered a good 20 titles or so from Eureka's recent offerings and the international shipping (to the US) has been faster than most domestic shipping I've seen and everything has always been properly packaged with little to no damage (hard to avoid scuffs on those heavy book(lets)). It's incredibly impressive that the world's best DVD label is also now one of the world's top etailers.

Thanks to the Christmas and New Years offers, and having money trickle in to me over the month or so, I made five separate orders from Eureka in the last month or so. All five packages arrived in perfect shape, three of them within SIX days of ordering (to Australia!). Questions and concerns were handled quickly and effectively. Couldn't recommend the service highly enough (and now have a complete MoC collection to boot).

Since it seems to be the done thing here I'll just add my voice to the chorus of praise for Eureka's shipping and customer service. I've had damaged cases replaced free of charge even though I bought from other vendors and everything has been delivered lightning quick. In fact I've just moved from Ireland to the United States and my first import was MoC's BD of Une femme mariée which arrived quicker to me here than most UK vendors could get it to Ireland. That was my first order directly with Eureka and it certainly won't be the last. Actually I sit here right now eagerly awaiting the postwoman just in case Lubitsch decides to show :) .

Seems my copy of Une femme mariée is taking a bit longer to get here (Atlanta, GA) than other people are experiencing. I ordered on the 12th, now I'll be lucky if I get it before the retail date.

Edit: And I never did get that Paypal invoice for shipping on the Pialat box (despite receiving it a couple weeks ago). I wanna pay you guys, honest!

I too haven´t received the Paypal invoice for shippping on the Naruse box set and Twenty-Four Eyes.

Another happy costumer here. I've made three orders from Eureka sales, packages always arrived in perfect condition and quite fast.

Still no sign of Une femme mariée. Should I be worried?

Where do you live? I'm located in Germany and my femme arrived yesterday, House hasn't shown up yet. Both were apparently shipped on the 18th.

I had February's offers mailed to me today -
http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/feb_new.html

I'll definitely be picking up the two blu's, and maybe the Sirk.

Eureka are also selling the existing blu's direct, and a few other dvd's -
http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/BD.html

http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/MoChome.html

Great idea guys.

"M" is Region B since Criterion is going to release it on blu-ray in the US.

"City Girl" is Region Free.
