While scrolling through all, since you can't open a title's learn more without losing your place, I've found you can add it to your wishlist - then in another tab, check it out there.

That's good advice. Is the Watchlist really limited to 100 entries? I went through a preliminary check of films, and the number stopped at 100 as I was adding them to the list. I haven't checked whether the movies added after that really were added or not (wouldn't remember them even if I wanted to, though), but when I've removed titles, it does show 99, 98, etc.

Considering there is not only the Richard Einhorn option still (and I like it personally) but also Adrien Untley and Will Gregory's score (of Portishead and Goldfrapp fame respectively; I first heard about this when Adrien was taking his picks from the closet). I'm not sure if the other ones available on the Eureka Blu-ray could be an option there, especially since Mie Yanashita's was timed for 20fps playback.

Speaking of which, I presume this is still 24fps.

As far as titles licensed from major studios are concerned, I'm assuming it's a case-by-case basis. Mulholland Drive was licensed from Universal and, yet, is available as a CC-only title on FilmStruck.

Would anyone mind checking to see how Room at the Top is branded on Filmstruck? Just curious, since it was rumored for Criterion some years back then seemed to disappear.

It just launches straight into the film with no logos or the like.

No branding yet, the image is actually an empty placeholder. It is a Westchester film so it is still likely forthcoming even if it doesn't receive Criterion branding right off.

Try a different browser perhaps. I was having frame skipping issues in Safari, but it's not as bad in Opera it seems.

After having used the search function with titles and names, I tried topical and regional terms such as "Mexico," "animals," and "psychopath," all of which yielded relevant results. Nice!

Would be nice to have Fandor-like categories for language, country, and year.

Using the app, I watched a little bit of Mulholland Drive on my iPhone (I know) and was amazed how it sounded on my headphones.

Funny, I'm pretty sure some of those "Mexico" titles have New Mexico settings, not Mexican ones, including the awful Powwow Highway.

I don't have an account yet so I can't check but has anyone checked out some of the Almodovar flicks? Wondering how Bad Education and Women on the Verge of Nervous Breakdown look.

All four Almodovars look hi-def to me. The Studio Canal blu ray of Women on the Verge that came out recently looks a lot better, but all the transfers on Filmstruck look good. Bad Education looks a little smoother, and you can see nice grain on Women on the Verge and Tie Me Up Tie Me Down. Talk to Her looks a little softer or flatter than the others, but that might just be how it was filmed? They're all good--looking on Filmstruck.

Does anyone else have problems with streaming FilmStruck material on Firefox? All I get is a black screen, though Chrome works fine.

I can't even log in on Safari, it hangs on the spinning Filmstruck logo. I've been using Chrome as well.

Steps that helped me resolve play issues (Mac/Safari)

- Verify that your browser is the current version. Update if it isn't.
- Same with Flash Player. Upgrade to current.
- Clear/delete browser history. (This eliminated "spinning wheel" interruptions.)
- Close any currently unneeded apps and don't view while downloading other things.
- Check any ad blockers or privacy programs like Little Snitch to ensure that Filmstruck isn't being inhibited.

Mondays: thematic program, with a Channel-exclusive introduction or series trailer.
Tuesdays: night at the movies, with pairings of classic and contemporary shorts and features, many previously unreleased by Criterion.
Wednesdays: Every Wednesday, a new, complete Criterion edition will make its debut on the Channel, with all its supplemental features, and sometimes with Channel-exclusive additional content.
Thursdays: thematic programming, again with Channel-exclusive intros, trailers, and supplemental features.
Fridays: double feature

In other Filmstruck news, I haven't seen anything new added lately, but I do think its very telling by some of their selections - even when they don't have Janus/Criterion branding.

For instance, they just added a lot of 'Classic Bollywood" (without any Criterion/Janus branding) - which include exactly the titles they hinted at releasing in the past, such as Guru Dutt's film Pyaasa (which was restored this year). I'm sure they are playing their cards more closely with these films - and not wanting to immediately spoil everything. Filmstruck also has several films that have been rumored for quite a while, so it seems more than just coincidence that of all the Sony/MGM/etc titles to be added, they include these:

Age of Innocence, Music Lovers, Marat/Sade, Moulin Rouge, etc. Granted, not all of these guarantee anything for Criterion (Topkapi, which Kino put out is on Filmstruck) - but it seems more than just coincidence that they have many studio films on Filmstruck that have been hinted/rumored.
