So far picked up L'enfance Nue, Toni, Diary of a Lost Girl, and La Vie de Jesus. Plan on picking up more along with the two February Blus and the new Sirk but have to accumulate more funds first. Any idea how long this sale is going to run?

Ugh, If I'd buy everything I wanted from those sales I'd have to spend ~250 quid. Not possible for me right now :(

Is it true that the Black Shield of Falworth has no subtitles?

A couple of weeks, maybe a little longer. The new February releases will be up until the release date - 22nd Feb

Kevin

I just placed three separate orders. Is there a simpler way to make bulk orders?

Just send Kevin an e-mail and he usually gets back to you with an invoice in 24 hours.

Ordered City Girl and There's Always Tomorrow (cancelled my order with Amazon) but would second the request for a bulk order option or a basket - having to enter your details twice is a bit of a bother. Still, this new sale is greatly appreciated!

I'm looking at other payment providers for future offers, PayPal are very competitive with their fees, but their "shopping cart" sucks and it is almost impossible for us to work out what you have purchased. I'm trying to make it as streamlined as possible, ie really easy for you guys to order and really easy for us to process the orders, at present I'm downloading one .csv file a day and then importing it into a databse and then creating despatch labels. Using Paypal's cart system envolves using PayPals website to process everything which is labouriously slow. I'm speaking to a few people who have better solutions but at a higher cost, worldpay for example, but I need to keep the cost down so we can keep our prices competetive with the rest of the market and still give you guys a good offer.

I'm happy to send invoices via PayPal for multiple item orders, just email me or [email protected] (I get the email for this too) I'll try my best to get back to you within a few hours.

Thanks.

Again, don't be shy to email me, my email and the customer services email are both about in this thread.

At least a couple of weeks, the new titles will be up until the release date, I'll probably send out a "last chance to buy" email a few days before we close it down. As before if you are not on the mailing list and want to be, send a blank email to [email protected] with the title as "Add me" and I'll add you to the list.

Thanks for the order, I'm working on it, hopefully the next time we do this it will be a lot easier for everyone to place orders (and for me to process them).

I used to run a website that operated a Paypal cart system and there's definitely an easy way for the cart to remember what you've added to it. No need to investigate around for another service, just play with your PayPal settings

Free shipping now or is it still 1 pound per item to the US?

I still haven't received my Une Femme Marie Blu that I ordered when it originally went on sale despite receiving the Lubitsch set and Hausu. Should I be concerned?

Kevin, please do not move away from PayPal. Or at least, keep it as an alternative. I really don't feel like signing up for yet another payment service for "just one" retailer. PayPal has by far the largest userbase so you might really hurt yourself if you completely switch to an alternative. I would actually consider using Amazon for my pre-orders instead if I couldn't use PayPal anymore at your site.

Yeah, I'm another user that only has Paypal as it is so widely used. I may have a Google Checkout account but I've probably only used that once in about five years!

Some prices are bumped up and especially the blu-rays, Tokyo Sonata was 11£ in the last sale. The major bargains are the Mizoguchi titles.

Well I bought M, City Girl and Sunrise on Blu, and Diary of a Lost Girl and Tabu on DVD. I think that is me truly spent out until the summer now.

My two Mizoguchi's arrived today, very quick. Unfortunately, the parcel broke and was repackaged by the Post Office. The "Ugetsu" was cracked in half. Luckily the discs are OK, but I've had to house them in a single disc case, as the doubles are hard to come by (at least, I don't know where you can get them).

I'm still waiting for my three orders that haven't arrived yet. Should I be worried? I am located in Germany..

I was e-mailing Kevin at Eureka! earlier and he let me know this:
Btw CITY GIRL was shipped yesterday so you should get that any day now, sorry I've not got round to sending despatch confirmations yet.
So for those of us who pre-ordered City Girl it could be here tomorrow. That's a whole 20 days before general release!

Mine actually arrived today which was a very pleasant surprise - these early-shipping sales are fantastic! And the disc itself looks amazing, can't wait to sit down and watch it!
